No, it was just the right side slide that got stuck wide open

This may be an amature question but what are the domes for? I ride at 3000ft, so what domes would I need?

I was out riding my quad today on the trails/mud and all of a sudden the motor revs to its wits end so I shut it off and get pulled back to the truck. Take the side covers off my carbs and play around with it and the slide dropped down. Started it up and it worked fine. Took it for another ride and had no other problems. Now my question is, whats the easiest way to clean my slides? take my carbs right off and clean them right out or would a aresol carb cleaner work( or is that not recomended for a 2 stroke)?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only reason I ask is because my 2000 shee with T-5 pipes and a K&N smokes blue exhaust pretty good, even when warm. I know they are supposed to smoke but not sure how much. Was wondering if I was running to much oil in my gas

I mix my 2-R at 32:1 as well, but recently I picked up my clymers manual and it says to mix 2-R at 24:1 who is right I have no idea.

I was in the same situation when I bought my 2000 shee used. The guy I bought it from rode dunes so he put a twist throttle on it aswell. On my first ride on it my twist throttle cable broke. I ended up putting the stock thumb throttle back on it. All I needed was a new cable and the thumb assembly.

Because I ride lots of trails, and they keep poping out of the holes in the heel gaurd. I have also got the snagged on branches and cracked/ ripped off.

nahh, I am looking for something to go where the plastic peices do, like between the fender and the heel gaurd.

I am having trouble finding a company that makes a set of aftermarket metal heel gaurds for the banshee. If anyone knows who makes a set let me know, and I don't want the nerf bars. Thanks

Yesterday when I was out riding I felt something loose. I got looking and it turns out that my axle housing on my swingarm, where my axle goes through has play in it. and a fair amount too. Its not lateral play, when you stand on the quad and rock side to side you can feel the clunk. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem with there shee as I have. And how do I fix it? is it bushings or bearing?

They are really simple to change, only about 20 minutes. when I first got my shee it had twist throttle and the first weekend I was out on it, my cable snapped too. As for a place to get one I am not sure. I just goto my local shop.

I bought my 2000 banshee used and I find that the suspension is to soft for my wieght. I am about 230lbs. I was wondering how or if I can adjust my rear shock? any thoughts for a good adjustment would be awsome.

I was out riding all day today and my clutch felt awsome almost all day, and then my lever got really hard to pull in. I could still shift with no problems. I have no idea what it could be. any help would be awsome

I just picked up a set of thor boots and I went ridingwith those last night, they work good but I just had to adjust my shift lever linkage. They are also pretty easy to walk in aswell. The boots cost $190 canadian

It was my first time riding my shee with a set of boots and I found it extremely hard to up shift because the lever was to low. Is it possible to move the shift lever up a few on the splines or will that effect my shiffting and is not recomended? any advice will be helpfull, thanks

So I was out riding in the mud today and both my handlebar grips were slipping, like I could pull them off? what do you guys use to keep your grips from moving?

Hey guys. I just got my banshee the other week and was out riding it, and I went to go up a hill in 3rd with a fair amount of speed and I was not able to make it to the top, I even tried to gear down. Whats the trick? to stay in the power ban all the way up? thanks guys.

I just baught a used 2000 banshee last weekend. It amazing, has pipes and a jet kit. Also had twist throttle till I went out on it for the first ride and my cable snapped. Really enjoy my shee!!

What is a tors anyways?

Looking for a rear swing arm skid plate, either stock or aftermarket. Let me know what you have!

I ran one wire to ground and the other to the orange wire going into my coil. The install at the coil was a little tricky due to the short wire and lack of space.
