  1. if its 4 the stock head i'm about 99% sure i have 1 if so it's yours let u know 2morrow around 6pm my time!
  2. I think 155-160 or so, not 100% My bike was @ 175 or so and i use to run 40/60(2gal 93-3gal110+) then did some lookin around HQ now i run 110+ all the time! JUST TO B SAFE
  3. DO the comp check 1ST!! if u got the money get rid of the stock carbs and go to aftermarket ones!EBAY or someone on here could hook u up!

  6. ok i kinda fig that..sry 4 the newb sh*t...ok i was reading in the book and on this site..where the clutch plates and other plates slide on too..it says to check the teeth for burs..ect...found 2 really deep ones and lol where the springs and screws go to hold plates 1 of them is broke right off.lol now i have to find a basket ... its not going to hurt to leave clutches in oil is it???
  7. the barnett plates do not have the arrows like they show in the book??? and is there 2 rubber o-rings??
  8. ok i have the clymer book so that's out of the way...i need help installing a clutch in 87 banshee!!! i'm doing this for a buddy and the last time i did this on my own bike i burnt it up in 20 min or so....HELP plz...i was paying this guy i knew at the stealership and he's keeps blowing me off! u guy help every one on here and i fig i would ask!!! i have the clutches soking in oil now so.... i friend got this bike cheep...paid 500duckeys for the shee...vito's big bore @ 1.00 guy had 1000.00 dollors in work done to lower end and big bore top end...well guy said after the work was done sat in garage 5-6months...went out to trail ride never touched the gas so who knows how long the gas sat!!! anyways took it out on trail about 10miles locked up....pulled it back to truck said kicked the bike again and it started up...don't know y but took it home and took it all apart y i don't know....now i have it and i can't do anything with this bike till clutch is done.... i think the bike got hot from pour oil in the gas ect...everything looks fine but wont know till i get this clutch done!!!!PLEASE HELP

  12. Ok i've got a set of jugs no cracks, never been ported! These r bored 66.00 need to be honed or bored out to use...i'v got the new piston kit 4 66.25 wisco Lt W if needed! I got a set of jugs from K&T per...i got off this site..so i do not need old set of jugs! Anybody need a set make an offer for the jugs or pistons parts need to go.....i paid 145.00 shipped 4 the piston set up they go for 95 a pc. i think if not more!!! TY 4 looking!! Some1 plz make me a offer

Hey i know all carbs are diff but i been running 140 mains up there to 6 years on Keihin pwk 28's.never had a problem...i just put a slight ported jugs on and i'll be up there memorial day testin them out!! hope to see some Banshee hq's up there!   17. well my buddy is about a 150lbs more then me but...umm what should i do? i just don't understand it's been about 3 years from last built.. i know it won't last 4 ever just didn't know about the top of piston was so clean...i read head leak collant will do this?? i put pix in profile pix's

Hey..i have a 87 shee and was riding for awhile2hours or so with my buddy on his raptor660..anyways i wanted to see how it ran so we switched! we were draging down a stright road and my shee cut off! well i found i lost comp in the right piston! So i loaded it up went home and took her apart found the right piston broke on the exhaust side...top of the piston where the exhaust port is broke down to the ring! Ok walls were not 2 bad so i took it to the dealer showed my buddy and he said it would have to be bored out! the piston welded it self to the wall! Well my question is the top of the piston was very clean...i could read # off of it!! Other side was black norm..i was looking around @ all the forms and just wanted to see what u guys think???And it blew parts of the piston at the carb... I have pix will not upload
