Dual K &N pods hook right up to the carbs. A pro design filter plate bolts right onto your airbox and you clamp a filter onto that. Toomey also makes a 2 into 1 filter that bolts onto the carbs.

Agreed, replace the cable. About 15 bux or so and half hour of your time. Yup, keep that shee Dune, nicest one in here IMHO.

Great place no doubt. Didnt make it there this season however. I remember a few years ago, in the middle of the summer there was about a bazillion people in there and some kid had one of those bike ramps that go straight up about 15 feet or so. He was peddaling his bicycle like a mofo, hit that thing, got launched about 30 feet in the air and kept landing in that crystal blue lake. Did it over and over again. I laughed my firggin balls off.

CPI's. Now if he has his bike ported or not will determine if you smoke him or not.

True, a single is easier than a dual carb set up, but unless you are mainly just gonna trail ride stick with 2 carbs. Just upgrade, depending on your motor. A quick story-last season a dude was ripping around on a shee that friggin sounded awesome! I sat down at my truck and my sons were still riding. The guy finds my oldest son and asks if any "fast" Banshees were around to drag. My son said I was at my truck, haven a frosty. He comes up, tells me his shit is ported/polished brand new this and that. Basically he had a dynoport pipe and a 35mm carb and a shitty port job I suppose. Also said he was gonna smoke me. We dragged about 5 times and each time I beat him by AT LEAST 9 bikes. Whooped him. I ran the 94 in my sig. He was kinda pissed, I gave him a frosty and told him not to talk so much shit. Banshees were made to have two carbs, pipes.

my 01 is ported, runs SST pipes, K & N pods on stock carbs, 290 mains with 27.5 pilots.

Rev the piss out of it, hold the front brake, pull the clutch till its JUST about to roll and dump it in second. Go through the gears quick and power shift all the way through. F'u'c'k' that fo fitty.

Hmmm, The 02 's trans oil is a dark grey and smells burnt. 1 ride on the oil, its Bel ray 80w. Stopped shifting too. Sounded like it went into gear, just revved and went no where fast. Had to tow it back to the truck. Gonna rip into it tomorrow. Clutch? Gears? Henway? Piecost? Any ideas?

Its really not gonna "rip" with stock pipes.

T-6's are for stock motors. Dont respond as well to porting. So I'm told. CPI's work well on a stock motor, really shine on a ported motor. T-5's work well with both.

I have a 98 1500 x-tra cab 4X4. 3 inch suspension lift. I can get a good deal on some 315/70R16 (35X16's) tires on pro comp rims with 4 inches of back spacing. Will the 4 inch rims rub? I'm thinkin I probably need 3 inch back spacing rims. Any help? Thanks.

I have T-5's on a stock port bike and CPI's on a ported bike. If I were to do it over again and only had 1 bike I would just get the CPI's and be done with it. T-5's are awesome, but with porting CPI's are a bit better. Toomeys are the best sounding pipe out there, IMHO.
