  4. no there are 3 bolts at each end cap. cant see any rivets
  5. Ok ive tried and tried so before i do anything i regret to the pretty silencers i want to know if anybody has had problems taking CPI silencers apart to repack them. How do they come apart, push in or screw on and what tricks are there?
  6. I assume stock carbs...if so, i ran similar set up at same elevation and I had good luck with 310 main 30 pilot. should get you close.
  7. I currently have K&N with outerwears, but the 28s I bought came with Uni Pods. Is there a difference in airflow between the two or partical protection...

  18. I would start at 150 main (155 seems a tad high right now), 50 pilot. im at sea level and thats what seems to run well with a good port and same setup you have... just remember every bike runs different so the 155 may be good for your bike. just play with it. what terrain you running in?

  21. whats the best way to test squish. used a different tester, took head back off and reinstalled to make sure there wasnt something done wrong. still reads 210. i cant figure out whats going on. there is no way to increase compression unless domes are changed....cant think of anything with the crank or rods to make it stroke higher nobody has seen this before?
  22. Just replaced the orings on my Noss Head. Background: Did pistons and rings last year this time and compression test with my 19cc domes at sealevel read 183psi just as it should be with minimal riding since then. Had some trouble with sparkplug leaking oily residue out top of head so i decided to replace head orings and plugs as precaution. Just took head off and installed new oring kit, replaced head, did a compression test. All of the sudden my comp test showed 210 psi each cylinder. Did test 3 times each cylinder, WOT and not, regardless read the same. Im going to try the comp tester on another bike to ensure tester is not bad but just curious if anybody knows why this might have happened or had this happen to them before.
