  1. alright now this i gotta comment on! spray them bitches with either (starting fluid) and light em up with a lighter. . . .they clean up nice that way. or use gas. i also use some sand paper to clean em out. best is just to buy new ones but if ur low on funds sometimes u gotta clean em, i kno i've ben there
  2. i run 80wt gear oil and sometimes i uise a little lucas oil oil additive
  3. turned 20 in december . . . .damnit!
  4. anybody know what the actually difference between a big 4 stroke and say a banshee runnin a lean mix like 50:1 or so. it can't be that big if a difference could it. cas after my banshee warms up it doesn't really smoke bad.
  5. good story holyman. looks like i got a job ahead of me according to u and locogato. ya from now on nobody touches my banshee. hes a good friend and knows how to ride but its not that.its about respect, for me and the shee. if its not urs it shouldn't be piss pounded. i learned the hard way and now have 2 beat my wheel into submission. i'm thinkin bout gettin reinforcement rings now for the new rims. i don't want this happening again.
  6. interesting indeed!
  7. hey man 149.95 on www.magicracing.com so u might wanna give them a call or check them out.
  8. shocks with resi's will stay cooler. only disadvantage is if they are remote u have 2 mount them. my .02
  9. the filter is clean, could it be jetting? thats what i was thikni but thats the only prob with it. it runs great and doesn't cut out or have any weak spots no matter where the throttle is
  10. i broke a light and got a new bulb ...right hand side actually and it blew after a week or 2 only i was pissed. i got a set of trail techs on the way i'm gonn put on. they outta be a hell of alot better than stock, look nicer too. glad 2 hear u figured it out, lices are a nice commodity lol
  11. i kno the raptor has a dual carb setup my bros bike is a gas HOG. but the engine wants 2 stall when the clutch is pulled in if the throttle isn't touched every other second.anyone kno why?
  12. his head makes a LOUD ass thwack! damn he took a hard spill! whered u find that? lol makes me wanna start watchin QVC!
  13. ya i think the itp's look alot nicer than the douglas's too. i'm gona straighten out my wheel and put some billet lights on i'm gettin from bignasty over the next week. i'm diein 2 take the shee out. i'll be able 2 see for once when i get those lights on
  14. how bout the rear shock of a 450,will it fit a banshee?
  15. my brother has a raptor and i gotta say i hate the clutch, i pull it in and it wants 2 stall out! not like my shee, i pull mine in and she'll lower to almost an idle and does it like a champ. could my bros jetting or something be off or do raptors just run that way? nebody on here with a raptor have this problem too?
  16. ya seriously, u gotta consider just the top end alone. cam, rockers, springs, timing chain and gears, rods n all the toprque specs have 2 be EXACT . . . a banshee is a much simpler and more dependable machine than a raptor. but if its a thumper ur after ride a new yamaha 450 b4 u buy a raptor. i heard nothing but god things about em. all else y not sell ur banshee and get a newer or brand new one! good luck decision making!
  17. hey i'm all for it! this def gets my vote!
  18. wow u guys know ur stuff, i gotta hand it to u both boonman and fixitrod. but to add to the original topic i downshift quite alot for the sole purpose 2 save brakes.it works well and slows u down prety good when u do it right.
  19. LMAO hahaha what a link dude, nice find!
  20. hey man sorry 2 hear that , maybe u can save her. look for other things 2 sell 1st.have a yard sale, throw smome suff on ebay. try n save water and electricity.theres alot of little things u can do that'll eventuall add up 2 something. might not be a quick big lump-some of $ but its something to think about. i hope u can find a way 2 keep her (the shee).
  21. ya thats what i ws thinkin. i wish i only knew what bent it in the 1st place, especially since it was on the inside ! looks like the sledge is gonna get some use.
  22. well guys I actually didn't bend it , a friend of mine picked another friend up on it and shede came back with a bend in the rim and my axle's a little more bent than it was b4. i asked and he said the only thing he can think of is when they crossed some railroad tracks. so i'm not sure. i'll ask him again when i see him and let u guys know. i got my set of itp's from ronnies.com with a set of 22' realters for 280 i think. they look great and got here in like 2 days. i jumped them a few times an no dents so they gotta be strong. the 1 thing i might not of mentioned is that the dent is on the INSIDE of the right rear rim.!!! wierd my tire is still inflated.and another FYI i do not have reinforcement rings but i do think they are a good investment.
  23. do i have 2 break out a malllet and give it hell or does anybody have any method to bend it back easily? i'd get a new one but they're brand new ITP's. only the left rear one. so gimme some suggestions.thanks
  24. wish i didn't live in PA or i'd be there man! sounds like a good time 2 me
