  3. just changed the oil and brand new heavy duty barnett clutch. It also started to overheat along with leaking oil could it be the water pump seal?

I just built a 421 cub with plus 4 timing 35mm air strykers 150 psi of compression noss coolhead pretty much the works, but i didn't have the money to get pipes like cpi's or shearers or anything so i have my old t-6's. Want pipes

I want to buy some shearer or cpi or grand river racing inframe pipes chrome of course. I have t-6's if anyone is interested in trade or i will buy them outright.
  11. its goint to be hard to weld anything to that flywheel seeing as how its magnetized and even if you do get it to stick it will break off once you put it under very much pressure just spend the money and buy a puller and two or three jaw puller will work ten bucks.
  12. I built a plus 4 to accomodate my 421 cub and it works damn good, it seems to be a happy medium it will still wheelie pretty damn fierce on pavement but i don't ride much of that just to ge to where i am going. i vote plus 4
  13. He is right about the k&n pods wouldn't trade them for any other kind, but to save money you could cut the back of the airbox off where the coolant bottle mounts and just use it like that or what he said and buy the mount.
  14. In my honest opinion spend the money and get you some itp holeshots i have had quite a few sets, they last the best and they have the best traction, if not then get the razr's
  15. I have a 421 cub on race gas with 35mm air strykers plus 4 timing and i need some good pipes for it what would be better cpi or shearers, i don't ride trails much mostly sand washes and open roads and drag racing and hill climbing
  16. I am a little above 5000 feet. i am already running 150 psi and the cylinders are cubs and they are factory with a touch up port.
  17. a 4mm stroker
  18. ok i am already running 110 octane race fuel, i just built my motor and want to run pretty high compression because i am running 110 octane with plus 5 timing how high can i go compression wise with the plus 5 timing?
  19. Get the cub man they are very popular at this point and work can be done to them cheaper due to the higher demand, and i just got my 421 cub together and it rips so i vote the cubs.
  20. Well if you are a good welder or fabricator than yeah it will be a breeze if you just tinker with welding spend the money on either a good swingarm or have it done at a fab shop. What were you going to weld it with as far as how mig tig stick? I have extended quite a few and also buit quite a few and its pretty easy but i am a welder so thats you call like they said your only out ten bucks so give it a whirl. For a shop to do it it will be like 60 bucks an hour so count on being charged 3 hours at least.
  21. what about with +5 timing
  22. how high of a compression can you run with 110 race gas?
  23. I use citgo 110 because thats all i can get in this area its 4.85 a gallon i run it with bel-ray 40-1
  24. Jeff at F.A.S.T gave me an amazing price of 2350 bucks for everything you could think of to do it right cylinders crank and the whole nine yards.
  25. I got my 421 cub broke in and took her out for a spin and holy crap does she haul some as thanks Jeff it runs like a champ and thanks to all you guys for answering my questions.
