  1. does the parking brake make a difference if it is not on?
  2. make sure that u did not over adjust the clutch adjuster
  3. awhile back i forgot to turn off the gas over night and there was gas coming out the left crank seal the nexted morning but it has never done it since.
  4. the petcock is working fine and the air screaws are set right.
  5. the choke tube is in place and the slides do go down all the way. i am thinkin it is the crank seal to. Ok to get to the crank seal what would i have to do. i have never done this before and i dont wanna mess it up and yes both pistons were the same.
  6. i tryed the spraying of the head and base gaskets and nothing i sprayed the carb boots and nothing. when its running i can pull the choke and it revs down to normal but when u let go it just revs up. and another thing when it running it just revs up higher and higher now until i kill it. i took the head off and the head gasket is fine. but the pistons were really black. the head didnt have any problems tho. its got 125 on the left and 135 on the right but u can turn it over with ur hand really easy. unless it is the base gasket i dunno. i havent checked it yet. i really need help.
  7. its got good compression 125 and 135. i didnt know a air leak could overheat a bike. i will try the spraying. thanks for the help
  8. my shee has more problems now beside taken like 30 kicks to start it . when u get it started it does not idle down. the other day it was fine and would idle prefect . then it overheated and now it only revs high. is it a air leak? if so what would it be?
  9. for the overflow bottle what hose hooks to the top and which one to the bottom?
  10. its got good compression and the water pump is still moveing like it does. but there was some build up of junk that has grinded circles in the waterpump plate. would that have done it. what else would cause a bike that it runnig prefect bog out and die. spark coil?
  11. well i was riding for about an 1 hour and a half today with no problems. it was running great. i was doing some hill climbs and running her on long roads. but when i hit the trails it boiled over on me. so i waiting for about 15 mins for it to cool down . then i tried to start it and nothin. so my brother towed me out and i tried bump starting it . it started up and ran great for 5 mins then quit but it didnt boil over. then i couldnt get it started. what would be the problem its got good water level . the overflow bottle is not on. would that do it or is it the water pump?
  12. i have the hose. so it doesnt connect with anything at all. and the oil means there was too much oil in the case.?

  15. the hose that comes from the back of the engine and the hose that comes from the front right of the engine what do they do. There is a Tee connection there but i dont have a hose on it . where does that hose goes. when i was riding yesterday after it ran for about 5 mins it would start shoot out oil from the tee. does that do that or what. i cant remember where the hose goes so some help would be great. thanks.
  16. i used a three arm puller and it worked fine it didnt leave a mark at all.
  17. when u take the clutch plates out and everything how the hell do u get that big ass nut off? has anyone else had these problems with there clutch?
  18. alright this time i got it really tight and the clutch was workin until i was rolling it back and forth with the clutch in and was in gear to make sure it was still workin it did the same thing. i lost almost all tension on the clutch lever there is alittle still but not enough to engage the clutch.
  19. i know its not compression left 125 and right 135 i think or the other way around
  20. what doesnt make any sence is that the clutch was put in last year and i maybe rode it 20 times.
  21. would a leaking crank seal cause hard starting when cold. its not leaking anymore so i dunno what happened

  23. it was just not the nut that was loose the whole bolt that goes into the clutch was loose. U could pull it out about 1/4 inch and thats as far as it would go. it wont stay tight.
  24. alright before i took the clutch cover off there was tension on the clutch lever but when it was in gear u could not roll it with out it turning over. so i started her up and all of a sudden there was no tension at all .so then i took the clutch cover off and the center nut in the middle of the clutch was loose and u could move it back and forth. so i tighted it up then i put it all back together and started it . it was running for about 20 secs and then was no tension again . so i took it apart again and the nut was loose again . what is going on. I need help.
  25. my left crank seal is leaking gas. the seal looks fine from the outside and the other day it was not leaking. what would cause it to leak.
