I'm looking for a tire that I can use in very sandy dirt some rough spots but no hardpact spots. I fear spending money on paddles and just ripping them off. The motor is a ported 421 cub. Any ideas?

Does anybody remember the kenda nomad tire, it kind of looks like a paddle. Last time I seen them around was about 10 years ago. Wondering if anybody knows if they still sell them or still make them.

Just get the pancake bearing and have peace of mind it wont happen again. Mine welded the push rod to the ball 3 times, then I finally wised up.

My builder says the same thing about not spraying the heims with wd40, there has to be something to spray on as a protectant. Guess the wd is going to be collecting dust.

Ive had them for about 8 months and had no problems. Everytime I get home from riding I give the heim joints a shot of wd40, that seem to keep everything good. Also I'm running elkas set up for the arms and my weight, so you might want to look for shocks if you havent already. all in all, I like them.

I also had the same problem with grr. no call backs no nothing. I called fast racing and was very satisfied, items were at my house in 2 days. I'll never call grr again, their loss.

With the 4mil cub it wouldnt be fair to the raptor. Not that much motor is needed to beat any new four stroke.

That sounds real good! I'm running turf tamer rears, alot of guys dont like em but I think they hook up pretty good. With that much power I think any tire you put on is gonna spin.

Put the timing plate on and I am impressed. I went with+4.5 advance, and there is noticeable throttle responce. I am satisfied now. The stock cubs had terrible over cast so I had to get the clean up, but the bike is running great now thanks for all the input! How are you guys with this setup doing against piped banshees, and 450r's on drag racing? And what kind of hp think I'm pushing?

Running pump gas with 20cc domes, and a clean up port, nothin big. I love the motor, she screams I am very satisfied. Only prob was I had to go +6 on the swinger, but that was a good problem! It was ported by a local shop they did a pretty nice job.

I ride half and half sometime long straights and pits. no trails. I'm running shearer in frames, and the cylinders are ported, it just seems fat on the bottom but I dont want to lean my new motor out too much. when powerband hits it hits hard. its a great top end motor, but i'll take the good with the bad anyday. I already ordered the timing plate so I guess i'll put it on.

I have a 421 +4 stroker cub, it seems the bottom end is not there i'm running 35mms strikers with 150 mains, if I get the adj timing plate and go +4 think it will help? I have a '00, it sat for 4 yrs and just got back into riding bout 6 months ago and just put 8,000 in this bike, just trying to build it to its full potential.

I love my lock out also but I also added the magrua hydraulic clutch. I run a 421cub +4 stroker very nice setup but the hyd clutch was a bit pricey.

I run a +6 round house with a 421 stroker cub set up, I do the same with asphalt and off road no problems yet just have to get the shock revalved way to soft. with 85 horse I think the +6 would be fine.

I have a stock rear axle in good shape of a 00' $85 shipped. Bike sat in shop for 4 years, just put 7,000$ in complete build, and have many other stock parts.

Looking for a rear shock valved for a +6 swinger. just built a new 421 cub, the stock one is way to soft. perfer to pay with paypal, thanks.

500? sounds like its the crank, mabye a loose rod? if thats all it is I would think about going somewhere else for repairs.
