  1. OK, so I need the K & N filter, Pro Flo Adapter, Outerwears, and proper jets. I WILL be running with a lid and a hole cut in it with outerwear cover.... What jets do i need with this setup? 280-290 comes with the T5 kit right? That is with the lid or drilled 1" holes for those pods in the lid. Should I go with 300-310-320 with this setup(see pic)? I am installing all at once: Toomey T5's w/ jetkit, K&N with Pro flo adapter, Outerwear airbox cover and V-force III's. I just want to run with a lid for awhile. I like to hit the shallow creeks sometimes. I ride rain or shine. So this might be a better setup for me.
  2. Cool thanks peeps. I will probably stick with the uni air filter and 1" pod filters. I just don't know how well this K&N will hold up in my dusty conditions. I know foam has held up fine and have used UNI for many years. I was just looking for something more to push me to K&N for offroad. It has been ordered and will be here next week.
  3. I have a stock 06 Banshee and I am upgrading to the T5's. Should I just get the whole kit: Pipes, stingers, silencers, jet kit, uni filter, and pod filters? Or should I just get the pipes, stingers, silencers, jet kit, and a custom Outerwears cover? I don't want to run without a airbox or without a lid. Also, will a 260 or 270 main jet be good for this setup, which comes with this kit? Or will I just have to do the plug chop, then decide? I ride on gravel roads, trails, etc. I live in Missouri and I don't know what the elevation is off hand.
  4. I probably didn't ask the question right. Will these new back rims and tires make my rear end wider? If they do, should I worry about making my front end wider with a different offset?
  5. I am looking to purchase new aftermaret rims for my front stock tires. I just purchased Turf Tamer 20x11x10 tires with Douglas .160's. I need to know which one of these will match the width with my stock tires. Thanks. 10x5 - 3/2 offset 10x5 - 4/1 offset
  6. I am getting ready to purchase the T-5's and I have caught a few posts where people said that the Toomey T-5's have melted their plastic. Is this true with everyone or did they mess up somewhere? If it does melt the plastic, what can I do to prevent it, exhaust wrap, stick-on silver heat deflectors(on the inside of plastic), or anything else? Any suggestions would help. Thanks.
  7. Can anyone tell me where I can get a set of stock .160 Douglas front rims? I think the stock size is 10x7 right? I just need the rims for my stock tires. Thanks
  8. I need a pair of stock size front wheels polished. I just order some .160 polished douglas wheels with 20x11x10 Turf Tamers. I just need the fronts to match. I will be getting rid of my Black front and rear rims. The rears will be coming tires with 2 days of use.
  9. Thanks guys. I will do a search and find out what size main jets the stock Banshee has and up them 1 and see how that goes. I will probably go with a Uni Foam Filter cause I live where it is dry gravel roads. Also, would the EHS racing airbox mod be good for a UNI filter? Do they even make a good enough lid mod that will keep out the water?
  10. I have a few questions about how to adjust the idle on my banshee. I only see one carb that has a brass screw that looks like it adjusts my idle. Both carbs have the air/fuel screw that sits flush in both carbs. I already unhooked my TORS, but what does the 2 flat head screws do on top of the TORS on both carbs? I took the snorkel off my airbox and on the inside of the lid I cut out that big tunnel for airflow, so it is a straight shot of air. Would I need to up my main jets or adjust the needle any? I am going to be purchasing 20x11x10 Turf Tamers on .160 Douglas wheels. How will these hold up to trail riding? Mainly rough terrain.
  11. I have 20x11x8 Turf Tamers on Douglas blue label rims from my Yamaha Blaster that has 90% tread on them easy with no dmg to tires/rims at all. They are up for $70 shipped anywere OBO. E-mail me at kking_@hotmail.com Keith
  12. It was the TORS. I unplugged it and it runs fine. Where is the idle adjust screws? Are they the ones under the seat, on top of the carbs?
  13. I am new to the forums and I just purchased an 06 banshee and it ran awesome all day. I carbon fouled a plug and replaced them both to be safe. Now when I kick it over, it runs but when I press the throttle it just wants to die instead of the RPM's raising. I did adjust the idle screw but then put it back in its normal position. I mixed my first mix at 24:1 to break it in. I added 50:50 coolant and water to add more coolant also. Any help would be appreciated.
