I bought a set of carbs off ebay this past winter for my shee. The were listed as 30mm pwk. I was in a hurry to get parts and start ripping this spring, so I just assumed that they were keihin carbs. My bad! They were sent with a bent idle screw, not a good sign to begin with. I emailed the guy and he said that he would send one out the following day. Nothing for two weeks. I emailed him again, and he said that they should be there any day. Nothing for another week. I persisted to email again and got no reply. I finally gave up trying to get a hold of this dude and sent my whole bike into a mechanic to see if he could solve the problem for me. Results are in! There is absolutely no info to be found on these carbs (YSN I believe is the brand) and the float bowls are so tweaked, it would be a cold day in Hell that my bike would ever run right with these carbs now. Stay away from these carbs, spend a few extra bucks and make sure they are the right brand!

Have 89 banshee up for $1900. Punched 60 over, vforce, toomeys, skat trak 10 paddles,adj stator plate, 30 mm carbs (need a little adjusting), boost bottle, less than 2 hrs on complete rebuild. Just south of Holland about 15 miles. Also, if anybody is looking for a 400 ex w/ a 440 kit and many, many mods, send them my way...

I run t-4's on my 'shee. I was debating whether to ditch them in favor of the 5's, but I have been really happy with the performance. I run my bike in Silver Lake, MI and don't seem to have a problem competing with many out there.

I have never jetted a carb before, but know how to do it. But, I am just getting finished gettin' my 'shee put back together and ordered a new set of 30mm pwk's that need to be jetted in. I am running toomey t5's, 60 over pistons, milled head, approx. 4 degrees advanced timing and need a little advice on what jets I should start out running to fine tune it.
