  1. I have a pair of sidi crossfires and they kick ass for flexibility in an mx style boot.
  2. People always say "the bike screams" with this part on it. However, a good majority of the people putting these parts on have not run the bike with twin 28mm flatslide carbs on it. When you say the bike screams, in my mind that person is referring to the top end power it has. If that is the case, wait till you test a good set of flat slide twins on it, the bike will really scream.
  3. I have thoroughly tested these setups, and you can feel a difference on the top end with dual carbs vs single carbs. On the motor I tested it was a 4.76 hp difference. That is a big difference. I cant stress to you guys enough how much I wanted the 2 into 1 thing to work on these bikes for intake and the exhaust. It just doesnt work better than twin exhaust and twin carbs. Sorry, but it is a reality. You want to develope an x pipe crossover intake thing a ma jig because you know the current 2 into 1 setup doesn't work well. The crank dyno, and my ass dyno proved that debate.
  4. I am running my twin 28mm mikuni carbs, Pro Circuit pipes, with a mid range port and it screams for me out in the sand dunes.
  5. I personally would tear mine apart just to match port the cases even if it wasn't gonna be apart. Im anal though.
  6. Well I have run them, and tested them, and still have friends who have them on their bikes that I put on. I say dont do it, your not running the right parts setup to benefit from what it would offer you power wise. Your motor is setup to peak too high with those T5's. You would see a bigger gain by swapping the T5's out with a low-mid pipe.
  7. You can get Tabs at the local bike shops. The oregon ATV License is a test you have to take online. Riding in April, you may get away with not havng one, the rangers are usually not out there that time of year.

  10. Well I dont have the charts in my pc for that motor. I saw the charts again a few months ago, and I see the bike we tested them on every day at work. If your talking about good low end pipes, then you can't ever talk about 2 into 1 pipes. What I like is a low-mid pipe that makes more power than any other pipe. I don't buy stuff for looks when it comes to performance.

  12. Torque was increased as well. It wasn't as drastic as the HP increrase, but it was more.
  13. Cascade had told me they found through testing that pt mids worked the best. I actually do a lot of business with them, so I am not talking trash. I am just saying, that there are pipes out there that even they have not tested. I dont really like the pt mids from all the testing I have done on them. In some cases, I have seen as much as 5 more hp across the board on the dyno with the pro circuits over the pt mids on the same motor.
  14. Cascade has also openly admitted to me that they have never even tried pro circuits. So not sure how they come to the conclusion that the pt mids are the best pipe if they haven't tested all the pipes available for low-mid power.
  15. If you use their reg/rec you will see a huge loss in wattage. If you use a good one out of a sled, you wont see as much loss. Your post said you thought it was a charging issue, but then you said that wasn't the case. Im confused.
  16. we get the hoses hot with a heat gun and bend them they way we want to clear the pipe. Then cool it off with compressed air. It usually will maintain the new form after that. That temp gauge you got should be in the line going from the head to the radiator.
  17. Not with a stock stator, I would recommend running a bulb that is 35watts on each side.

  19. We got 4 reserved between our group from Saturday until Tuesday. Just a heads up: If you guys get their late on thursday night, which is technically friday morning, you still have to reserve for or pay for thursday. Dont forget about having ATV RIDER License Permits for EVERY RIDER going out on the sand.
