  1. Hey guys, Wasn't sure where to post this but here it goes. I have a 2003 yamaha YZ250F dirtbike which I'm thinkin about selling for around 5,200 obo. Now the bike is by no means stock. I'll list some mods for you. 03 YZ250F:262 big bore, kibblewhite oversized valve and springs, fully port head by MCR, custom ground cams, Votec 10 curve CDI with switch on the fly, Yosh full race exhaust, Dual rate rear shock, remote rezi cans on forks. Carbon fiber clutch cover, frame guards, fork guards, and skid plate. Billet rear shock adjuster, front and rear brake rezi covers, kicker, rear brake lever and axle adjuster. Tag triple trees, tag bars with AVS levers. Chrome powder coated frame. This use to be my buddys race bike, one of his 13 that is. There is no joke over 15k invested in this bike, I paid 6000 for it not more than a year ago. Just sitting here not being used since I'm 20 mins from the water. Thanks, John ps i should also mention that this is not your normal race bike, used and abused. The day I bought this bike he had his mechanic take this bike down to the bare frame and rebuilt with all new seals, beerings, forks rebuilt and coated, even revalve for forks and shock my weight. The motor was also opened up and checked out before I was to take delivery. He has a full time mechanic that works on his bikes! I will guarantee this is the cleanest motorcross bike out there, that has actually seen use! Im located in Utica, MI feel free to ask any questions. Thanks, John
  2. Shes alil dusty from sitting

Everything i put on was the best parts i could find and everything has been gone over execpt for the rear carrier, i was gonna buy a 40mm drag axle and carrier for it but ever got around to it yet.I have over 6k into this but its time for it to go. The only concern is a light tapping sound on the clutch side which I have yet to look into. Could be clutch noise, I don't know but I had the cylinders off the end of last year and everything looked fine. Getting out of 2 strokes so everything I have goes with it. If there are any questions please ask, Thanks John pictures http://s139.photobucket.com/albums/q312/SvrdRam/banshee/
  4. Fair Enough.. must have seen my bumper sticker.....lol!! All the lettering is in blue execpt for the F and the U which is in red....lol...my lil way to say hi to the "nice people" riding my bumper
  5. I really dont ride with anyone on the forum.. I spend most of my time at the MX tracks on my 250f with some guys from work and my friends from HCS (hard core sledders) never really had a chance to meet anyone from here. As for the work, mostly me and my friend Robbie, hes been building and tuning top fuel dragster motors for his boss for over 15 years now so we gave it a shot on my old motor. Dyno work was done by A&S back in the day. I would love to hit the ice but the banshee's sold right now just sitting there waitting for the guy to bring me money everyweek. Hate to go blow it up before he picks it up...lol...But my sled should be running tonight Oh and to who did the work on the cubs im selling?? Tyson portted them for a stroker motor because my buddy Greg didnt have the money to buy new cylinders....Tyson was the one who also tuned his bike
  6. Thats why I started a new post to clear all that up. These cylinders are setup up for a 4mm stroker. You just have to run cut domes like on a stock cylinder stroker motor. What they did is take a normal height cub which is the same height as a stock cylinder and then drag portted it for a 4mm stroker. Really easy to understand, but that old post got really confusing so I decided to simplify it
  7. ill get some pics posted up tomorrow...
  8. I have a set of drag ported 4mm cub cylinders that need to go. Sold the banshee and these are sitting here doing me no good. There 65mm bore, drag ported by Tyson Racing, with pistons. There based of the stock stroke cub so you will need to use cut domes like on a stock cylinder stroker motor. I have never ran these cylinders but I was told to expect around 100 on meth, high 80's on race gas. I have over 1000 into the cylinders with pistons but will let them go for less. Bought them to use on my drag quad but blew the motor while spraying it. Cylinders never had a chance to get used, was going to go with my watercraft 1200 tripple from my drag sled instead but decided to run the sled this year. Asking 800 or best, let me know. Thanks, John

  17. Hey Matt, heard you sold the Polaris too, what my banshee wasn't good enough to trade in on it??? LOL, just screwing with you, talked to Wayne at work today and he mentioned you sold the trailer too. PS, if you didnt figure it out yet, its John, from Silver Lake, TTYL
  18. Yes, these were stock stroke cubs, They require the same cut domes like a normal 4mm motor. The cubs were ported for a 4mm by Tyson, i bought them intending on using them but now went to a 10mm. These are the 65mm bore though, keeping to the 400cc class at the time before the new 66mm (i believe the new one are a 66mm bore that is) came out. Im willing to deal too, these have got to go, new some cash to finish my Sled motor. Thanks, John PS there are no casting numbers on them, spent 20 minutes on the phone with Jeff at FAST when i first got them, there the same height as stock cylinders, and the 4mm cubs are slightly taller.
  19. Also have some stock parts laying around too. Stock untouched cylinder, head, carbs minus the slides, stator and a few odds and ends.... let me know if anyone needs anything.
  20. Hey guys, just putting these back up for sale, and learned out a few more things about them, Yes there the stock stroke 65mm cub but there ported by Tyson to run on a 4mm. All you need for these is a 4mm crank and some cut domes and bolt on 13 extra horse!!! cant beat that!! Well let me know, Thanks, John
  21. If your willing to split them up, im interested in the stock location HIDs
