nice post i agree.. i spent 350 on a drag port from a local guy on my stck cylns... looked like a clean up port.. so i went with a rep builder for my cubs

19 domes and +4 timing... yea u should have been running 50/50.. i ran vp c-12 mixed... lol..2200 for a now runnin bike .. right. u ll realize the resale value on any atv isnt worth a crap... do nt even try and add in all the aftermarket parts either.. thats why i wont ever sell my bikes... best way to do it is part it out.. and ur still plannin on losing money.

u could pronb run a lock up with no wieghts.. for looks. but if only run a lock up with a overide.

seem like to me , that u need to make a phone call to jeff at f.a.s.t. he will let u know what u need for ur set up... when in doubt ,call a builder

if the plugs back out... ur timings to high !! set it on +4 i had +4 timing ,130 ish comp, .030 shaved head and i rab 50/50 i used vp c-12 108 octane

im runnin all the balls and stock springs.... i cut the clutch cover center out

mines the under the stock cover one. its the slingshot. looks stock

there is alot of great builders out there, u should call and talk to some. word of mouth is good, but i like to talk to a builder direct and see what kind of portig they recommend. with that, u need to know what kind of carbs and pipes are best for "their" port job. i used jeff at f.a.s.t. on my 4 mil cub motor. jeffs a very cool cat to deal with, and helped me set my bike up to full potential.

they are serious about asphalt racing over there!
