redoing top end do the reed spacers really make any noticable difference .if so seen some people say low end some say top end now im confused .also do the carbs fit in the stock air box ok scince they will set back farther after installing reed spacers im running k&n with no lid.do they mount in front of or behind reed cages thanks for yor help.

thanks guys i actually soaked it for a while in warm soapy water and let it set for about 40 min.then i had some k&n filter cleaner that i had for my nitro powered t-maxx truck cause i have a k&n on it its cool about the size of a silver dollar.i live in flint michigan not sure where to get the spray can of k&n oil any suggestions we have advanced auto and autozone.

chewed for years how can you be out in the garage workin on the shee without a dip dippers know what im talkin about. chew copenhagen long cut later happy dips.

just cleaned k&n filter what should i use on it just some wd-40 or is there something special i should buy &use.

im a 2 stroke freak this is my first 4 wheeler so i had to have the banshee.neutral seems real touchy kinda hard to get it in nuetral not like my dirt bikes is this normal.

thank you for your imput.im redoing a 1998 banshee 4 months into it and im new to this sight.frame is all put back together just did not like the black and yellow scheme.i went with the blue and silver.it had stock pipes with fmf scilencers so the first thing i did before tearing it down was ordered some fmf fattys will not bolt them on until done.not sure the hours on top end so i will tear it dowm also and redo im this far i want it dependable.have 280 mains for the fmfs and #30 pilot jets.i plan on milling the head with mild port job.i have owned a cr 250 1996 and ran fmf loved the tourqe.i have a 1993 cr125 now with fmf thats all ive ran always loved the power thats why i went with the fmfs.

does any body know what the actual horse power gains are for the fmf and toomy pipes for the banshee!!!!!!!!

did you check the float bowl drain screw to make sure it is tight you probably did.if the float is not sticking and the carb gasket is good there should be no other reason.did you notice were it is coming from you didnt say.
