I'll agree with alot of the others, $7k can go along way in other places on your shee. If $7k isn't a problem for you to spend, get it. I wouldn't, but then I'm not you.

Is there a piston with the pin height raised 9mm so a spacer plate doen't have to be used with a +4 crank with 155mm rods? I tried a search and nothing came up.

Plexsus (sp) I've used it on all my plastics and it kept them new looking for years.
