  1. so a +4 and a 120 link chain will work good
  2. I'm going to run a wheelie bar and I will probably get a +4 swingarm just for riding around and for the sand drags because all it wants to do with the -3.5 it look up to the sky, me and my dad are going to build a wheelie bar for it, any ideas on how to build it, the swingarm is a honda swingarm
  3. +4 is what I thought about going with but I wanted some opinion on it to see if that is what I need for it to ride good
  4. I was just wondering what size swingarm that I should get for my 2000 banshee, my mods are listed in my sign. It has a -3.5 right now but I also want a longer swingarm so that I can sanddrag and also play in the sand and trail ride, also what size chain would I need with whatever swingarm I get. I don't really wont something to long so that it still will corner good but won't want to flip over every time I hit the gas. thanks Aaron
  5. I was just wondering what times you think I will run. I'm not really serious in drag racing as you can tell my 2000 shee is set up for flat track, but I was wanting to play at a local sand drag track. It is a 100 yard track. I will be running Skat Trak Extremes 21/12/8 9 paddles. It really not set up but it will just be for fun. So plz don't dog on me for drag racing a flat track quad. Just let me know what you think
  6. I was wondering if anyone knows what size or part number for some K&N clamp ons for 35mm pwk carbs, it has the Proflow intake right know and I would rather have clamp ons.
  7. nope, about 2 hours from there, I live in Coalgate, if you don't know where that is, it is about 30 min. south of Mcalester, 30 min. southeastt of Ada, and 15 min. northwest of Atoka, I've been racing up at Ada. Its a 1/8 mile track I think, I have never ridden on a track that was 1/2 mile but Jack said he laped about 7 pros on a 1/2 mile track, so far I'm loving the bike. It has really impressed me and is a big step from my other banshee, haven't raced it yet but I will be this coming Sat. up at Ada
  8. ok I will see what size pilots are in it and probably switch to a 65 or so, and when you say sync the carbs you are taking about setting the idle the same on them right.Shearer makes that much of a diffrences? If I put 65 pilots or so, would change the bottom end up at all, this shee has alot of bottom it seems like and it is making power from the time you hit the throttle to the time the pipes come in, these shee is a beast, I love it. Jim, you have built a awesome motor and I will probably have you build one for my other banshee
  9. It was Proquad101's shee, I think he said it had like 150's in the main but not sure and he never said what the pilot was or the needle clip, would you turn it to the right to idle it up or turn it to the left?
  10. I'm sorry about this dumb question but I recently bought a shee with 35mm pwk carbs with dial a jets on them, but when its started it won't idle. If i'm of the gas it will just die and I figured it was that the idle is set to low and I was wondering where the idle screw is on these carbs and which way to turn them to idle it up. thanks
  11. Wow, those are sweet, I may have to look into doing that more my pipes, o yea the shee is sweet looking also, I like that blue and the end caps
  12. I have a twist throttle and really don't like them so I want to convert it back to a thumb throttle instead of a twist throttle, I would like to have the thumb throttle and the throttle cable if you got them. If you got one for sell, shoot me a price. Thanks Aaron
  13. but what size or part number would I need to fit a 35mm pwk carbs
  14. Well kind of the reason I thought about going to clamp ons is because my aftermarket rear shock has like a rezzie on it and the braided line comes off of the top of the shock and the line is rubbing the shit out of my air filter almost to the point of makeing a hole in it, and plus its easier to take the carbs of with clamp ons instead of fighting to get the pro flow on.
  15. I just bought a banshee with the dial a jet installed on a 35mm pwk carbs and was wondering how to adjust the dial a jet, which way to go up and which way to go down , how many clicks for one size of a jet?
  16. Right now my bike has the pro flow intake with 35 pwk carbs and I was wondering if it would be better to put k&n clamp on's instead of the pro flow intake. If so, do they make a clamp on that will fit a 35 pwk carb, if they do what size or part number would it be, I have no air box, it looks like the airbox was cut out and they left the pro flow on with out the airbox. Any advice would be helpful thanks. O yea this is a flat track quad but it will see some sand and woods riding, probably very little water.
  17. ok thanks guys
  18. I'm replaceing my sprockets and chain and I was wondering if I should get steel or alloy sprockets, I think I have heard that alloy sprockets don't last very long at all? Any info would help, thanks.
  19. first kick with the choke on every time
  20. ok thanks for the help
  21. sorry but what is a squish band?
  22. I was wondering how high can your compression be before you have to run race gas or a 50/50 mix, also do you have to rejet for this mod? Any info will help thanks
  23. I'm in oklahoma and I have k&n clamp ons, toomey t5s and boyesen pro series reeeds and i'm running a 300 main, don't remember what the clip on the needle is at but I'm running a little rich
