On top of your old stock head it shows the torque pattern #'s to go by. (If you don't have your old head or a pic of the pattern just ask) I torque mine as follows, 10, 15, 20. then 22 ft/lbs :thumbsup:

Ok ive heard some people complain that a 6" bench is a lil under powered...maybe that's why it's taking a long time, My 8" is 2HP and works great :thumbsup: I think most 6" are 1/2-3/4hp. I say just keep on it and it will proly take some time with a 6".

It takes a lil time and elbow grease to get it to shine be patient and it will shine. What colors are you using ? Also what are you using a bench grinder style or angle grinder setup?

Go grab your self some Real polishing compounds. http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/buffing.htm Read on there what each bar is for and go from there, but i always get a kit with all the colors so you can do a variety of things. I usually use the brown and then some white when i polish my pipes back up and other things too and the shit comes out looking like chrome. Then get your self a nice loose cotton wheel and a spiral sewn cotton wheel and go to town on the parts. The shit works wonders, give it a shot. You can pick the bars and wheels up at a variety of places.

Just because you cant see anything wrong, it does not mean that there's nothing wrong. Just look at what you said about your comp....90 one side 60 the other...somethings wrong obviously! Sounds to me like the jugs are outa spec in the roundness department + rings are worn too. :biggrin: Bore/Hone new wiseco's and your good to go. Rock on!

Well i ran the same OEM pistons on the stock bore from 01-07. Then just honed my jugs and popped in wiseco's just because from 07-now. .20 over here in a bit cause it's time for a first bore and on wiseco's again. :thumbsup:

HOLY SHIT those are HUGE. I just went and measured my old stock Carbs and my New 30's. Where the pods clamp on, the stock Carbs were just under an 1-3/4 and the 30's where just over 2". You sure there 3-3/4?

To small for 30's....
