I have the same axle. I use the big spacer on the inside and the small one on the outside. Made the bike pretty well square, maybe a c-hair narrower in the rear.
Play around with it to find what you like.

I use both baja 4+1 fronts and baja 3+2 rears. As said above, you will notice less steering effort and alot less bump steer also less leverage on your ball joints. I mostly ride trails in the mountains and i wouldn't want any other offset. I didn't want a quad that's way too wide and stupid to steer around. I think mine is perfect for what i need to do.
Get some good shocks as well.
Few pics around.
Mine came with a thick rubber gasket as well. Over time I think they just break down. I run avgas and it's a pretty dry fuel, so it might break it down I wee bit faster.
Anyways just try a light coat of some silicone on both sides that can be used with petroleum.

If your seal is torn or old cracked and brittle just replace that or try to seal it up better.
I put some silicone stuff on mine that let it seal up better at the tank as well, it's safe with fuels. I'll see if i can remember the name of the sealant. But anything safe for fuel will be sufficient.
Mine didn't leak fuel outside of the valve, but when i shut it off, one side would still flow some fuel. Contacted Pingel and they fixed it up for me.
Where is yours leaking?
If you see it bubble, there is your leak. It's a quick and easy way to check in a few seconds.
If an air leak is your problem in the first place...

For a quick check, grab a spray bottle off soapy water, fire the bike up and spray really close ALL over the carbs, intakes, boots, head, cyls ect etc while looking close for bubbles bubbling.
