all great ideas so far.ply wood bottom drill a couple holes. wire it down.if you can find a box sturdy enough.do what abyss said the foam is a good idea. i usually build a crate.wire it down tight to the bottom piece of plywood, put 2 2x4 runners on the bottom then build the crate around it using plywood and 2x4`s.i just shipped a cr 125 motor usps. i put it in a milk crate wired it up tight ,then built around the crate with plywood, screwing the wood into the crate.it was tight as could be. then shrink wrapped it.

you may have to ad a spacer above the adjustment on the top of the carb.like an old pair of the brass adjusters,cut them to size till you get the slides to open all the way.if your adjusted all the way now.you will probably have to add a spacer.

if you lighten it up your self,cut off all the useless bracketry.and are not looking for looks.100 mph is not hard to get there,it`s how fast you get there.if you want an asphalt dragster at a budget price it can be done relatively cheap .with an alky conversion.pm me if you are serious,i can get you a good price on converting your carbs, swingarm,and porting.let me know.
