Alright guys, I really need you help, I took my cards off to clean them, and I have the carbs in the right place, when I put it back up the left carb slide is about 1/2 inch from closing , what the hell have I done ?I have not changed any adjustments as a matter of fact throttle works great, no binding at all. Cleaned carbs, I did`t touch any settings, NOTHING, now it won`t idle, but revs great, what is wrong ? Thanks Milo_32000

The left carb has the pull knob for the choke, I just looked at the right carb, it has a threaded hole on the left side of it , it looks as if it had a nipple in it , but I`m not sure, Thanks for the help, I need it ,,, Milo

I pulled carbs off to clean them because shee was running like ####, the right carb has NO nipple to connect the choke tube hose, am I correct in thinking it {had } a nipple in the right carb to connect it ? If i leave my pet cock in the on reserve position it cranks first kick, if in the run position it takes a 8 or 10 kicks to crank, What gives ? Is there a filter in the pet cock ? I have never taken it apart. Thanks for the help ! Milo_32000

Wanting to install a adjustable timing plate, I see cast and cnc machined ones, are the cheaper cast ones accurate ? I REALLY DON`T want to smoke a motor over this ! Or is it just as good to slot a stock one and use a degree wheel, What I have in mind is +4 , .030 cut on the head, and I already have PC pipes, with 280 mains, no lid on the air box this runs good as is ,this is just a play ride no racer at all unless a 4 stroke wants to play !
