I got bit by one of them bastards on the leg and had to stay in the hospital for a week. The pain was so bad I couldn't walk, and the bacteria from it caused my leg to start rotting from the inside out. I'm lucky I still have my leg. The worst part about it was I was sleeping and didn't feel a thing.Bastards are sneaky.

Well first off it's a 96 shee with new black and yellow plastics it has renthal bars,dg front and rear bumper, gripper seat cover and FMF fatties with power core silencers.My banshee needs a crank,pistons and re-sleeved. The warrior is a 87 model with a DG slip-on silencer and a fresh rebuild that is a wiseco .20 kit. I rode the warrior and it had good power but didn't handle as good as the shee in cornering and turning but sort of figured that but it did run good. I think the dude wants to trade me straight up. I was just wanting some opinions to help my decision, I ride trails alot in WV.I love the speed of the banshee and how you can just slide the curves ,but I'm low on funds.

Got a T-Maxx it's 4WD with 2 speed auto shifting transmission, full power reverse capability in both high and low gears and four wheel disc braking. Will do 40+ mph and has fluid damped fully independant suspension. It was around $385 bucks new. Needs a controller which is'nt much just get one at a hobby shop. Also have a nitro car that's 4WD and will do 55+ and paid over $300 for it. Will trade for a set of good cylinders, crank or pistons let me know what you got.

That's whats wrong with mine is bearings and rods.

Are banshee cranks rebuildable? Can you just take it to a machine shop, and how much would I be looking to pay? Trying to get by with going the cheaper route.

I got a stator with an ajustable backing plate and was set at +5 degrees. I was wondering if this might have caused it to lean out? Now i'm in the market for new jugs,pistons, and crank used in good condition let me know what ya got and if this may have caused it to prevent this from happening in the future.

I don't know why it locked up on me it has new sleeves, pistons, rings and head on it. I mixed it 32:1 with 93 octane and klotz.It would fire up first kick every time when she was warm. I was riding it on a day that was about 30 degrees and it was running excellent when it just bogged out and died like it ran out of gas which there was little in the tank. I kicked it a few times and it fired up and quit again and I tried to kick it over and it was locked up. Anybody have any idea why this happened? All that bran new shit and it did this.

Hey I just traded my cannondale for a banshee so I don't know to much about them but you could have blown a fuse? Just a suggestion.

CDI box or coil could be bad, that's whats wrong with mine.Take an ohm meter I think and test them.

The best way to know how to ride a 2 stroke is experience, so get the hell out there and ride that thing and find out the proper way. Hell it is'nt that hard to figure out, they didn't make power bands for looks. Run that bitch hard, they like it rough.
