  1. i agree u will spend your money better on stuff u want to make it right,, id look for a roller. something that basically has everything but a motor u might be able to get one sometimes for anywhere from 1000 to 1500. then look for a motor. and pipes ext,, if your gonna drag id look for a J arm bike ,, if your gonna ride the piss out of it id get an a arm bke, anything newer then an 89 will be a arms,

  4. all trxs are liquid cooled,, no hydrolic clutch, but u can buy them,, ill put my R which is stock cylindar stock bore, but plenty of other goodies up against a banshee with same. ported.piped and bigger carbs all day long and run with them and beet them, unless where gonna go drag port strokers such and such, that now can turn into a pissin match but u must remember that the rider has a HUGE part in i tand ive seen many bikes that are fast get beat cause of the factor of the rider, and if u wanna see proof of drag Rs runnin and beatin drag banshees go to planetsand.com and now under jimmys pics u can see a R beating up on 7mill plus banshees.. and everyone has a different situation all over where we ride so everyone is gonna start arguing that it can or can not run with the banshees because the Rs theve been around arnt maybe done the same or as big as others. 02 cents.
  5. ya i know reded. thats towards jeffs area anyway LOL ya but it becomes a job and they ask alot out of us for time, i prob put in 90hrs in 6 days and work seven days a week, i dont have any scheduled days off ,on call and usually get 24hrs at home then gone for 40hrs before im back home,, very time demanding,, but i enjoy it for now. it will be harder when i have kids and stuff but hard to get anything done ,im trying to get a drag banshee built and get it done before rattlesnake but its not gonna happen

  7. it isnt just the pipe, bigger carb and port is a must,, 400 ex wont be able to keep up just piped.

  12. its been done.. i own both a 89 250r its one of many ive owned, and a 4mill cub banshee,, i love my R to death for the track and handiling, but i love the raw banshee power for straight n fast, although there are mx banshees that are badass and my R isnt slow when it comes to piped and modded banshees and stock 450s but u get to much on the drag side and the R wont do it for me, so i get the banshee out! but Rs are an excellent handling,jumping cornering, bike, and if u get on planetsand they can be pumped up to drag and hang with the big banshees ask turbo bobby. gpracerx, sandtrixor phoneman they got some sweet drag Rs,,

  15. the clear covers were new and cool when they came out but more and more people are saying that there a pain,, getting scratched and a haze over the plexi glass now arnt looking so hot.,, maybe jeff can tell ya with more knowledge, but as far as ive heard u really dont need a lock up unless ur up in the 80s+ horspower range, and the recommended mod ur askin about is to run the lock up u have to get a different clutch cover or have yours cut and epoxied. jeff at F.A.S.T sells em.
