  1. I would soak it in a lubricant of your choice (PB blaster like crazywheelerman said) overnight, then attack it with a sledge... That's what I had to do on my wife's blaster. Also, don't hit directly on the end of the shaft. Spin the nut on, then smack that....then you don't mushroom the threads on the shaft.
  2. NO! the black is ground, and the yellow is the 12V power...really is the 12+++ power until you get a reg on it. Here's a wiring diagram. (about halfway down the page) http://www.dunereview.com/electricalupgrade-1.htm
  3. I have them on my wife's blaster. They seem pretty stout so far. According to Armadillo, they are made for the stock shocks. I did notice that the suspension is a bit softer, but not a dramatic change. The one thing I don't like about them is the tie rods they include. The ones we have don't seem long enough.... I called Armadillo and gave them a measurement and they said it was right... If I were to do it over again, I think I would just go with some Janssen a-arms: http://janssenmotorsports.com/product_info...cf93bc2ec5576f6
  4. Well, when my voltage reg went bad, it fried my bulbs.... I put a meter on the front headlight connection to check voltage. It was good at idle, but as soon as I revved the motor the voltage shot up.....much higher than 12V. I believe all the regulator does is shunt some of the power at the higher RPM's to keep voltage constant If it went bad, it should blow your bulbs out..... Have you checked the voltage at the bulbs with the motor running? Maybe you have a bad wire in the headlight circuit? or a bad switch? I would check voltage at the lights first, then at the switch to make sure there is not an open connection anywhere.
  5. Hey guys, My Shee has 30mm PWK's on it and I need to get some clamp on K&N's and outerwears. Anyone know what the Filter I.D. should be? I would check myself, but my bike is in storage 100 miles from my house, and I need to order this stuff ASAP. Thanks...
  6. What about the Honda 250EX. It's not a true automatic, but is like a clutchless manual. I think the new ones have the ability to switch over to true manual shifting, if ever wanted.
  7. you want to make it the default browser or search engine??? If you open up Internet Explorer. Go to the "tools" dropdown, then go to "internet options". Click on the"Programs" tab. Then make sure the checkbox at the bottom is checked. The one that says, "Internet explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser". Then click ok, close IE, then restart it. I think the whole system should default to IE then.
  8. Are you sure you didn't accidentally retard the timing????

  25. This can definitely be a problem. I had a buddy with a 400EX and his paddles were lined up improperly. You could feel it pull a bit on takeoff. It bugged him a lot. We took it to the stealership where he got them and they fixed it. They even said that it was their fault. I bought mine from the same place and they came lined up perfectly.
