yah we replaced the pluges with mine, dont know the gap.. all I have is a test light, It gets power out from the coil but when It gets to the cdi nothi ng comes out

Yes..

There is also no power coming off of the orange wire that comes out of the cdi to the coil

Hey guys.. my buddy has a 2001 banshee, he was riding it then the next day nothing. It's not getting any spark so I took off the the cdi, coil and stator one at a time and pluged them in on my shee and they all seemed to work.. I got the old test light out and it lights off the wires comming out of the stator. I cant seem to be able to figure it out... Thanks ~Rich

Damn 15 hour drive, Not sure if i'll be there. Wanna go and hang out and meet everyone, year along time and im in between jobs at the moment so I don't have any vacation time to take off.. I hope by that time i'll be at one place or the other. I Dont mind driving ( just took a 23 hour drive to texas in a Geo Metro 5speed with no cruse and 4 people with a weeks worth of stuff.. Hey guys, This has been happening ever sence ive rebuilt it and put the 35mm carbs on. It smokes the hole time im riding, its not smoking bad and there is also oil that comes out of the pipes and shoots onto the cylanders and head.. Gets me angry because I got my head and cylanders all polished and then I ride an the front of them are all black. Im running Golden Spectro one 12oz bottle to 5 gallons of gas, then I tried one 12oz to 5 1/2 gallons of gas, and still the same thing, oil on my cylanders. Do you think I should leen it out more or does the jetting need to be played with ( Not good at jetting, I dont understad it. Sad really I can take apart an engine to the block and put it back together but cant jet my shit :sad: ). I know ur going to ask are you at see lvl and all that so.. I live at Zip 49090 I beleave im at sea lvl im right by lake Michigan, mods are all in my sig.. Oh I think im on a 2 hotter plug then stock. I can get the plug number if needed. thanks,

I broke one off when i rebuilt mine, I was so pissed off. But the bolt is not tight like said b4, I just cleand it up good as i could making sure there was no pieces in the cover or clutch's and such and put it all back together and rode it for about an hour and took the cover off and it was laying in the bottom of the cover.. Not the best method but it worked

Mine came with a 2 into one exhust, I made sure to get mine with the padl's because the pipe gives it to much power to ride anywere but in the sand ( could only get the 2 into 1 exhust system if ur truck is blue ) ....
