I didnt do anything really motor wise just the carbs. I am at sea level. When i picked it up I got it for $1000 and it was doing the same thing and people said possible crank seals so when I pulled the cases apart the crank was bent . LIke when you grabed the rods and spun it you could see with your eyes that the shaft coming out on the stator side was bent. So i got a new crank and new seals all new gaskets. I dont think its a bad gasket but I guess I will have to look into it.

I checked the fuel lines and there clear no pinches or anything. It seems like that stator side isnt firing as often. But when I switched the plug wires nothing changed so i dont think its electrical. There brand new plugs too. Thanks for the help dragbanshee I love your bike mines almost got the same color scheme. I got a pc blue vien frame With black plastics. Its just running like shit. You think that compression is low it seems pretty low to me?

I finished my banshee and took it for a ride today 5 minutes down the road and back. Long story short the right side was getting crazy hot. Like you could touch one side but the other would easily burn you. It melted the vibration piece that goes from the pipe to the frame. That should give you an idea. Now it was doing this before but not as bad I thought it was the carbs. I got a different set of carbs and I replaced every seal, needle, and seat in the things. It didnt help at all. I switched the plug wires to see if the left cylinder would get hot but it didnt change anything. Heres what I am running FMF gold series pipes, fmf powercore silencers,K&N pod filters no airbox,boysen rad valves. Its got a boost bottle but I know I need to get the crossover tube. Heres whats in the carbs I got 340 mains needles in the middle clip and I am running a 25 pilot. Screw is 1 turn out. I am leaning towards saying maybe I need new reeds? I dunno someone help me out. The crank seals were replaced maybe 8 months ago and that didnt help. The left cylinder stator side has 95 psi for compression and the clutch side wich is running real hot has 100 psi .What do you all think?

I am looking for a base setting for the main jet . Heres my setup I have Boysen rad valves,FMF series pipes,K&N pod filters with no airbox just prefilters. I ride at 1000 feet or less for elevation. I got 25 pilots and the needle in the middle position. Thanks

Yeah I was looking at the F.A.S.T. website so I fgured have them do the porting and buy the parts from him. But why would I need a swinger?

Well long story short my buddy needed money to go on a snowmobile trip so I bought his banshee motor for $100 over the winter. Its in pieces but it all looks to be there. I mostly ride woods and gravel pits and I wanted to build a 4 mill. I dont know if that will be over kill for what I ride, what do you all think. But I was just wondering what I needed to build a 4 mill. I know I need a crank but can I use stock cylinders and get the ported or what would be needed and what do I need for heads.

IM looking for a dual pingle let me know if you got one.

So the pipes on my shee have this heated type blue tint to them and there kinda dark. Is it possible to bring them to a nice mirror chrome finish or are they done for.

I am talking about the brass piece that the needle slides in and out of. The main jet screws into the bottom of it. The dealer wants $50 a piece for these guys and I was hopeing to get some off of a website for cheaper. Long story short I went to clean a set of carbs threw them in the parts washer. Something happened got called away and forgot they were in there a month later and lets just say there not usable any more. I have another set of stockers but they are completley stripped.

Is it my understanding that with the upp slider or the tm design works slider you dont have to remove the swing arm. I am trying to avoid removing the swinger. I have been reading but no one actually clearly says you dont. It is implied by some that you dont but others say you have to pull the swingarm. If someone could clarify this for me that would be great. thanks

Wow I feel like a retard now. I didnt realize theres a ring on it. I bought the frame powdercoated and they powdercoated over the bearing while it was in there. I guess I better take another look at it. I spent like 2 hours trying to get that fucker out of there lol.

That would be an 04 440 sno pro as in the race sled. I just trail converted it ,now it runs on 93 octane.

So I just started building the banshee last week. What do you think? The pink shocks look lame but I am thinking shock covers for now. I dont know what I want to do for the motor. I mostly ride trails and sand pits. I am thinking get some trail porting done but I dont know what else. I threw in a picture of my sled too.

Well i have been reading up on the 2 into 1 and theres a lot of debate about these setups. I was thinking of getting one of these and i wanted to here what people think. I ride like 75% trail and 25% of the time i am just playing in a sand pit. Would I be happy with a 2 into 1 setup? I also wanted to get a trail/dune port or something like that. What do you think?

take wheel off spray starting fluid around bead and inside of tire. Spray a line on the ground going to the tire light with match . works like a charm every time
