I'm looking for a banshee clutch arm (the part you connect the clutch cable and goes into the case). If anyone has an extra one laying around let me know and shoot me a price + shipping. Thanks Greg

Ok, I said I would get pictures up and I know I'm a few weeks late but I have some and here they are. It works really well for me, just make sure you point the bolts towards the rear of the quad so they dont get in your way while shifting or braking.

I just picked one up the other day from ChvyCruzen. Sry.

For this you can do what I did. I race XC and as rough as it can get I needed something to get some kind of grip so I wouldnt fall off or have my outside foot slide off. I bought a set of the Pro Armor Foot Peg Maxi-Mizer. There is only two big differences. The banshee peg was smaller than the inside diameter of the peg (the extra length can be taken up with washers) and the holes in the peg that they mount through are slightly smaller (nothing a drill and drill bit cant fix). I will try to get a picture of what mine looks like but I have never had a problem with my feet coming off and they are a VERY cheap (compared to buying a set of pegs) way around the problem. Let me search through my pics and I will try to post a pic of what they look like (I'm sure if you care you can make it look alot better than I did, I didnt even try as I went for funtion not beauty). If I cant find any I will go take some tomorrow and let you see them. Hopefully it can save you some money.

I'd like to spend no more than 20 bucks shipped considering thats about what they are going for on ebay. I'm extremely tight on money and I"m trying to scrounge to get what I can during a break I have between races on a college studen income. I just need the box, lid, clips, and drain tube and clamp. I dont need the snorkle or the boots. I just need this thing to be able to seal up to keep water off of my filter b/c I race XC and sometimes we have some mean creek crossings.

I'm looking for a stock or aftermarket air box for a banshee. It needs to have the lid (or a outerwear box skin) and all of the clips and drain hole accessories w/ no holes or modifications unless they were done right (w/ filter inserts and whatnot). I will only buy if I have seen pictures so I know what I'm getting. I prefer to pay by paypal but will do a money order if I have to. PM me pics of the box and a price and I'll let you know if I'm interested or not. Greg

I would also be willing to trade these for a used axle. Stock length and aftermarket is prefered but will negotiate for a stock axle. Make offers and we can work something out. I need it badly.

I'm selling these "Power Now" intake inserts for the stock Yamaha Banshee 26mm carbs. They were 200.00 when I got them brand new a few months back and now sell for 180.00. I switched over to a 2 into 1 intake and have no use for them now. Here is a dyno chart of the changes these make with and without them installed. I noticed a huge low end grunt gain after putting these in and hope someone who needs them can benifit as well. They are very easy to install and will take only a few minutes for anyone who has serviced their carbs. They simply slide into the intake side of the carb and are help in place by the rubber boot or pod filter. I'm asking for 100.00+shipping (obo) since they are fairly new and in perfect condition. I'll take offers but ask for only serious buyers only. If a good transaction is made I will be sure to note it after the sale. I'm going to leave it up for about a week to make sure it is seen unless offered what I want for them. Thanks for looking.

I'll third that. I've used cast and forged and ever cast piston I have had has lost the skirt within 10 hours of use. I switched back over to a wiseco, and its ran perfect ever since. When in doubt, go with a trusted brand like wiseco.

I got that he was probably talking about another annoying poster that has "night" in their name. I may be wrong, but thats what I got out of it... Maybe you should add some kind of artwork to your posts, idk, a donky's ass maybe?

Bansh-eman, your sig is hypnotizing..

LMAO!!! Did you make the check engine light come on?

This is mildly intertaining. Its gone from dyno results to a ballsfest. :shoothead:

I'm in the process of replacing mine at the moment as well. From what I can tell there are 2 rollers and 2 sliders. There is 1 roller above the swingarm bolt slider and 1 roller below it. The other slider is located on the swingarm toward the rear sprocket. My rear skid plate got bent up this weekend and broke the rear slider in half. they are all pains in the butt, but its best to make sure you have all 4 installed and in good condition.

ojcool, be sure to let us know what it gets!

I was mainly just surprized my machine put out what it did with all the major changes that I did. Last time I ran it was back in October for a race and it was missing on one cylinder. I tore it down to find two holes in both intakes that was allowing sand in the cyliders and that I was retarded when I was mixing my gas and was mixing it WAAAAAAAY too strong (gummed up the rings and they stuck). So I had sand streaks on my pistons and cylinders that made me have to have it bored. I was going to have to replace both intakes and I figured since both of my stock carbs were worn out I'd just go ahead and try and get a 2 into 1 setup. Well 4 months later I finally was able to get one and got it 3 days before my race. I had a rough estimate given on what jets to start off with to see if I would be able to start it before i had it put on the dyno. I found out when I got 2 days before my race, it I didnt have a big enough pilot or main. I called a guy I knew that I get my stuff from and tried to get in his shop to get on the dyno and he said he didnt have an opening til the following tuesday. So I while I was trying to figure out how I was going to make the race in two days with no way to get jets (the guy I called is 3 hours away and no one in this town or within an hour has any type of parts I need), I just pit it together. About 10 minutes before I finished I got a call back that a guy canceled his dyno and they would be able to get me in on friday (the next day). So I took it up there, put the jets in they said and worked from there. Long Story made short, I didnt think I was going to be able to make the race and it had been 4 months since I had dont any work on my quad that was in about 70 different pieces, but like domino's everything fell right into place and it all worked out and was a cool experience along with great results on the computer. My machine is a woods quad so I'm sitting at just the right HP for my type of riding.

You didnt even start it up before it got on the dyno? Mine never ran til it was strapped down. Would have been a bad time to figure out I forgot something. But I had no choice since I didnt have big enough jets to even try to start it. I dont have any local bike shops where I can get parts, I have to drive at least an hour to get to any or order them online.
-
You'll make 50 easy. I put mine on a dyno last friday with no break in time (I had no choice in order to get it jetted and ready for the weekend/I wouldnt advise that for anyone and its very nerveracking) and I pulled off a 51hp w/ 34 ft/lbs of torque. I dont have the cool head or any type of porting and when I had the stockers in I was only at 280 w/ 25 pilots. So I'd say your somewhere around 55-60 depending on the quality of the port.

When looking for a replacement cable for my 2 into 1 34 mm pj, which cable should I look for? A stock blaster cable since its was a single carb motor and about the same length or a different one? I want to order it tonight while I order all of my maint. parts.
-
Well it lasted me through the race and its opening all the way but for some reason its just a bit longer than normal. I'm not sure why it doesnt have the adjustement on tope of the carb but it doesnt. Sure would have been nice but oh well I made it and I finished the race!
-
Nope, no adjustment on top of the carb.
-
Ok, I just bought a 2 into 1 kit w/ a PJ carb. Everything works fine and I was able to pull 51 ponies out of her but the throttle cable has too much slack in it. Is there anyway to shorten the length of the cable without having to buy a new one? It only has one adjustment and thats at the thumb throttle housing. With it twisted all the way out its still got about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of play before it actually starts to raise the slide. Anyone have any idea's that I can use as a quick fix to take up some slack? I have a race on sunday and I need to get this thing a lil bit tighter.
