  3. I ride mostly trails in central fla. I have a coolhead with 19cc domes, t-5 toomey's, k&n intake, v-force reeds, adj. timing plate +4, stock carb., barnett hd clutch, stock gearing and I run 110 race fuel. I can move through the woods pretty quick but the 450's eat me up in the turns. so I'm looking for more power down low. so I beleive I'm looking for a woods/trail port. Can anyone recommend a good place and how much I am going to pay. Thanks

  8. Can I get away with a +2 swing-arm in the trails? Will it make a big diff. in turning? Also what size chain would I need or can I use stock replacement? I'm clueless on this topic. Thanks

I don't even feel the roots that used to almost drive me off the trails. I also installed a golden west sterring stabiler. Here is a pic........

  15. i used krylon fusion on my first set of plastics and it stayed on pretty good for about 6 months. I ride mostly trails. i cleaned them real good with dish soap and a scotchbrite pad. then sanded them down with 400 grit wet sand paper. then put about 3 coats on. On the can it says chip resistant after 7 days. so i let them cure for a week. you should get about 4 cans.here is my bike with the old plastics painted, they used to be white.
  16. will do -thanks
  17. Can anyone give me a step by step on splitting the cases or direct me to where I can find this info. Thanks

  19. IF I WANTED TO PC THE CASES DO THEY NEED TO BE SPLIT? I KNOW THERE ARE SEALS AND BEARINGS INSIDE BUT I FIGURE THEY MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE HEAT. BUT I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH. I'VE READ ABOUT PC AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE DIFFERENT BRANDS HAVE DIFFERENT TEMPS. AND BAKE TIMES.
  20. I RIDE MOSTLY TRAILS AND I WANT TO KNOW WHICH WILL GIVE ME THE BETTER RIDE WITHOUT GOING TO CRAZY ON MY WALLET. I RIDE WITH A BANSHEE, PREDATOR,AND YFZ AND ONCE WE HIT THE TIGHT TURNS THEY DUST ME AND THE OTHER BANSHEE. WE ALL HAVE STOCK SUSPENSION.I WAS LOOKING AT THE ALBA DEAL WITH THE +2 ARMS AND THE REC. ELKA'S
  21. i have an extra set of front fenders i might try it with them first. its not always muddy but i live in fl. and hurricane season is right around the corner. i agree it does look cool and i wear a helmet so it should block most of it out. if i could figure out how to post a pic i would.
  22. when I put my timing plate on I used a regular puller that grabbed the outside of the flywheel and the center bolt tightens up on the threaded shaft. it is available at any auto parts store. hope this helps
  23. I'm thinking of cutting my fenders, I ride mostly trails and we get into some mud too. Do the fenders block much or will I not even notice they are gone? I like the look of them cut.
  24. I have my levers done. It does not look exactly like chrome but it is sweet . It looks just like aluminum (billet) in my opinion.
