Correct me if I am wrong(Although I am never incorrect) but the term "Light Globe" was used back in the 1800s when a famous character, Thomas Eddison invented it.
MeltIce, you need to refer back to a encyclopedia becuase your definition is incorrect .
BTW, I use GE Lights which use a total of 7 volts per hour and have been calibrated to the my elevation level (about 1500 ft above sea level) for maximum performance - Been using them for abbout a year and a half and have no problems with them .
My suggestion would be to change your current lightbulb and configure to your whole house watts, volts used per week. Then decide which is the best "light bulb" for you .
