I always wear my helmet when riding, but do find it amazing at the number of those who dont. Also amazong to me is the good number of guys I know that played football etc yet for some reason dont feel they need a helmet on a quad or bike. Kinda funny how they prolly wouldnt dare go out on the playing field without one yet they will get on a bike and go do stupid stuff on it without one.

I dont know if I would use clr, I was gonna use it and if you read the instructions it says not to use on aluminum, so I figured my radiator wasnt a good place to try it out. I used vinegar and it worked ok, but another off the wall thing is coka-cola. it has been used in cars and actually works well, just drain it , fill it with coke and ride it till its hot then flush it out good with water and it should be clean. I used coke in my radiator with it iff the bike and even cold it did clean it, not to mention created enough pressure when lightly shaking the radiator to blow one of the plugs I had on the outlets off :yelrotflmao:

ya I like the way it changes the look, I also added some of the n-style clear numberplate background over the paint on both sides where you are likely to rub the paint on the shift side and a little right below the kickstarter, just to keep the paint looking good for a long time.

yes autozone can check the codes, and it is free. we do it all the time here

the banshee seat is the same from 87 to 06 so itll fit. definately a no go on the raptor seat, its not even close

you might be able to take an air cut off tool , dremel, or maybe a hacksaw and cut a slot in the head of the screw if you are carefull without cutting into the kickstarter, that way you can use a flat blade screwdriver to get it out. The only other thing I can think of would be like you said to weld a nut to the head.

if you didnt do any mods immediately before this problem happened, I would try a new set of spark plug boots, if the resistor inside goes bad itll cause a misfire under load. Also it could be a coil but go for the cheap parts first and try the boots

here is a pic of mine with the chrome door edge guard installed, its not a new trick but it works good.

one more thing you can do is go to an auto parts store and buy that chrome door edge guard , you will need two packages to cover all the louvers but it adds a nice chrome tip to each one of them, one package will only do 11 of the 12 louvers so thats why you need two. It is just another easy and inexpensive way to improve the appearance of your grille.

if they are chrome you should be able to use turtle wax chrome polish, it will remove light rust. if they arent chrome I would go with a good metal polish like mothers, eagle one, or blue magic and it should help get rid of it.

I had the same problem with the air gap on the pickup coil to the flywheel. The gap was too much when I put the adjustable timing plate in but it was that way when I tore it down so I figured what the heck, the crank seal was bad anyway right. Well after yet another dyno run with exaust analyzer it still came back lean on left side, so I spent my spare time over the next 2 months trying to find a air leak. Well just as chance after I eliminated all the air leak possibilities I closed that gap up on the pickup coil and kicked myself in the rear for not doing it when I had it all apart doing the crank seal, 2 months down the crapper. So I would definately check that out because nothing is more frustrating than not being able to make something run right lol.

its just like the automotive parts industry, you can still buy parts for 1092's model a's and they havent been bult for years and tears. Hell the Banshee is soo popular there probabally wont be a lack of parts for as long as any of us are still alive

its not too awfully hard to do. The pump could be in the range of $100-$250 and you either pull the gas tank down, or if u can get 3 or 4 friends you can pull the 8 bed mounting bolts as well as a couple ground straps and unplug the tail light wiring and lift off the bed and it is easy to get it. With some help it can be done in an hour or a little longer. I prefer to pull the bed myself since it is relatively easy to do ant it never seems a pump goes out on an empty tank

My best guess would be that you could possibly have a washer on the wrong transmission shaft causing it to bind up due to being too wide for the cases, or maybe a gear that isnt seated fully in the transmission on the shaft possibly. Like it was mentioned a bearing could not be fully seated in the case too, one thing you could try is tightes the bolts till it binds then take a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer and tap the case gently around the shaft and maybe even gently tap the end of the shaft and see if it frees up some, the vibration could seat the bearing etc it thats whats causing your binding. Just dont whack on it cause that could cause problems go easy with it.

Ok guys I am gonna throw in my 2 cents worth, not sure why but oh well here it goes. First I want to say that to be gay is not a chioce, a gay person could no more sleep with someone of the opposite sex than a straight person could sleep with someone of the same sex. Afterall think about it why would someone choose to be gay and be in a minority that tends to be looked at as an outcast and disgusting. Its just how things are and how you were ment to be plain and simple, some are straight, some gay, and some even bi. Furthermore not all gay guys are feminine, Hell there are some that would totally suprise you. In my case I own and ride a Banshee, Blaster, and a CR125, as well as several cool cars not to mention build hot rods and musclecars. You never know it but someone close to you could be gay and with things you say they could be quite hurt, think if someone you were close to like a friend or family member was in the closet and gay, its not easy trust me. Hell it takes alot to offend me and afterall its america everyone has their opinion and we are free to do so, thats what makes america so great, we are free to do whatever we want. As for the movie I doubt I will ever go see it, its not my thing, afterall who wants to ride a cowboy when you can ride a Banshee anyway at least the Banshee has alot more attitude and is more faithful lol. Hollywood is in the buisness to make money and they will do what they think will sell no matter what it is. Just remember I dont slam you guys for being str8 so please treat everyone with respect, afterall there arent enough places to ride for everyone to hate everyone.

Here's how I have polished my wheels, and basically anythign aluminum, its easy and it works. You take a quality aluminum polish, like eagle one, mothers, or blu magic and you get some fine steel wool. Use the steel wool to apply the polish and work it in till everything is black then take a terry towl and clean and shine it up. It will take stuff thats dull and make it nice, I discovered it one day by chance just seeing what it will do and it works good, but you want to use cation on chrome if you try it I dont use it on chrome, just the polish by itself and a terry towl on it.
