i really prefer thumb over twist. I have thumb on my snowmobile, and 4 wheeler, and riding a biek with a twist just seems more dangerous to me... I always give it to much gas.

Well, I managed to take my banshee into about a 6 foot pond..... it sunk, then floated. Don't ask.. Well, after I got it home, i drained the oil, pulled the carbs, cleaned em, got new plugs, drained out the pipes, spayed carb cleaner in the cylinders and attempted to dry them out. So, i finally get the SOB to start (only push starting.. wont kick) and she runs fine on the left cyl, but the right one keeps cuttin gout when i idle, but kicks im sometimes when i try and go and shift. needless to say.. it runs like shit. Any help?

will they fit on my same rims??

My name is Carl. I have 22 inch rears, and 21 inch fronts. The fronts are brand new. The rears need replacing. I do a LOT of pavement pounding, and gravel roads. However, I'd still like a tire that will be decent in mud/sand. Whats a good tire for this? I'm lookin at holeshots right now.. or maybe turf tamers? TT's dont look that great for offroad tho.. I heard that switching to 20 inch rears would be great for acceleration. My question is, if I got 20 inch rears.. wouldn't i then have to get 19 inch fronts? My motor is bored over, but I'm not piped or anything.. Thank you friends. Also... how come when i see rims for sale on ebay.. they say crap like.. fits 87-89, and 91-04. Whats wrong with 90 (which is what year mine is)

The predator by a long shot. Unless you got some cut fenders or a shitload of stickers, you're gonna lose man... a 4 stroke single beats a 2 stroke twin everytime.. especially a polaris....

Hello, new friends of mine. Well, I wanna get some better carb(s) for my shee. I see a LOT of ppl running just one big carb.. and then some running 2 big carbs. What are the diffs? I know a 2 into 1 is better for low end... but how does it perform up top? Also, I'm runnning 14/41 on my banshee....what would be a better combo to get more speed in general??? I dont understand it.. I know the smaller the rear one, the more top speed, but I'm sort of clueless as to the front one. Also, Whats a good amount to have shaved off my head for just pipes? Do FMF fatties respond well to porting? In a few months, when i get enough dough, I wanna get it ported. Thanks. Much love.

I dont know what the deal is. 1) today is cooler than normal 2) i ran 32:1 instread of 24:1 like i normally do 3) i cut the front fenders those are the only 3 things that have changed. Well, it runs liek a bat of out hell from mid-low, but bogs after i let off the throttle. and when i get into 6th, it bogs a lot. Whats up with that?

I have no clue what kind of pipes I have for my banshee. The ONLY mark it has is a 6 (or 9) on the upper mounting bracket. I have stock jets in it right now.. what would be a good jet change to START with for these pipes?

Well modding a ZR 600 out is for sure the best bang for your buck when it comes to speed. For 10 grand I'd expect my sled to do 135 or i'd be pissed. Read your first post... your buddies new f7 blew up.. if that isn't a wake up call, I don't know what is. I'm sure the zrt1200 would beat his rx-1... but I KNOW that zrt is not trailable. and 1000 footers? If he gears and clutches his rx-1 right, I'd bet he kicks your ass hardcore in 1000'. I'm sorry, but your 'modded' zr 600 is not the biggest baddest sled out there. It's gonna get its ass handed to it by a lot of TRAILABLE sleds.
