My uncle is coming up from AZ, he has a piped DS 650. I have a 1990 Banshee bored .050 over, and thats the extent of its mods. How would it run with the DS as is? If it will be beaten, would piping it and getting a NOSS cool head even up the playing field? Either way, I'm gonna pipe it and at least get the flywheel lightened.

I don't see many piped rx1's, or ones with headwork. Long race, RX1 will win. Setup stock srx's will beat a stock f7....

So, i like the sound of running straight pipes. Any problems doing so, other than it being really loud and prbly getting a ticket? Any damage it causes?

carbs and topend were just rebuily by previous owner.. i bumped the idle up via the throttle cable thing and its running better and starting first kick. Weird with that said, who wants to go riding in northern MN?

Well i just picked up a banshee (stock) on wed, a 1990. Well it ran just fine, now, it takes a lot of kicks to start it, and i have to use the choke. It also runs way better with the choke on. It also wont sit and idle, i have to keep givin it gas. Im thinking its a carb/gas issue, any suggestions?
