I'm gonna try heating it up and beating it out with a socket first...seems like the least drastic way so far lol. If that doesn't work, might just go with DDQ's way and...eeek...cut it and reweld it. =\

Recently picked up a set of Paul Turner Mids for my bike. I've always wanted a set after hearing people rave about them. Finally got a set and take them for a ride. All I can say is WOW. Love these pipes! Went on a local dice run and had a great time. However...after returning home from said dice run...I started cleaning my bike and noticed a rather large dent in the left side headpipe. It looks like it hit the front motor mount bracket. Anyone else have this issue? The clearance between the mount and the pipe is very tight. Now I don't know what to do with this dent...how can I get it out?

I have the IMS 5.6 gal and I don't have to run risers. Its a tight fit but they fit. It might be a big ugly tank but it does whats its made to do...hold a shit ton of gas lol.

So I plan on tearing down the Shee here soon and I'm thinking about having some porting work done. My cylinders are only bored over .020. I plan on getting VF3 reeds to add to my build. I want to have a good trail port done. My question is, which one of the BHQ sponsors does a good trail port?

Really debating on ditching my PT Mids for a set of these...hmmmm.

Yeah I did for about one summer. I had FMF Gnarly's before them and the SST's pulled a LOT harder throughout the low to mid range. Once all this goddamn snow melts I hope to tune for the set of Paul Turner Mids I bought to replace them.
