  1. Your going to lose the rebound adjuster the first time the shock pivots. The spring stiffness is about three times what you need in the front. Yes, You may hit the rezzie also. If you hit it hard enought it will blow out. The nitrogen is in the rezzie and to disassemble the shock you push up on the rezzie after the nitrogen is removed. Do you see what i'm getting at? I hope this helps. Shane
  2. I can help you out on the rebuild. I'm looking for someone that rides dunes quite a bit. I'm trying to put together a kit that will give the same performance as an aftermarket shock but at a much lower cost. Someone with about a +5 swinger more or less. I'm pretty sure I have the right combination but need someone to test it out for me. We don't have good dunes in the Midwest. Thanks...Shane
  3. I work for myself. My business is LOBO Performance. It's more of a hobbie than a business really. A customer of mine told me about this sight. Although I won't tell who, the man that trained me probably has his name on a sticker somewhere on your quad. I'm not in this for the money. I love quads and the people that ride'em. I hope this answered your questions. Shane
  4. I'm developing a rear shock kit for the Duners. I'm looking for someone to test for me. Must be a duner, extended swinger, somewhat of an agreesive rider and able to communicated well about the shocks performance. We'll build your shock and for your efforts you'll get everything that we install on the shock at cost. Thanks....Shane
  5. For the money ASR is okay. They use heim joints instead of ball joints for a reason. That reason is because the arm itself is not a perfect geometry. The hiems take up for that. As far as doing business with them... They make it tough! They consistantly have messed up orders and warranty work requires several phone calls. The person (quadpartsguy) that is selling them on EBAY is not a dealer but is the son of Kip, the owner of ASR. Almost all the shops that advertise in dirt wheels used to carry thier stuff I believe they are down to just one now. And I suspect that is a relation to Kip also. I hope this helps. Take care....Shane
  6. I'm glad to hear you like the shock! We're here if you need us! This conversion cost $380. For the next week only we'll do it for $275. plus return shipping. We are starting to get quite a bit of work and want to keep our turn around time fast.
  7. I guess I have to agree with you somewhat. The rear shock could be better described as not able to hold up to more advanced riding styles. None the less, there is a reason why used Banshee shocks bring $120. on Ebay and others don't. Supply and demand!
  8. We are out of Indiana. The rebuild includes a new sealhead, oil and nitrogen. Generally that is all that is needed unless it has been riden on quite a bit after it has blown.
  9. As everyone knows there is a serious flaw in the stock rear shock. They have a bad sealhead design. If yours goes bad stop riding on it right away! The rear can be rebuilt pretty reasonably (we do it for $59.) but the more you ride on a blown shock the more things go bad inside. I hope this saves someone a little money. If anyone has a question about suspension i'm always glad to help. Advice is always free. Thanks....Shane
  10. I just discovered this site recently through one of my customers. I do not have references yet but will soon as several people from this site have already sent me thier shocks. Thank you for the advice! Shane
  11. We will replace the sealhead, oil and recharge the nitrogen all for $59. plus shipping. What kind of deal is this? The seal head alone runs $50. and the oil is $13.95 a bottle. We are limited on the time we have available so this is a first come first serve offer. Right now the turn around is about two days. Contact us at newhawg@juno.com. If your looking for a little more we can make any modifications you'd like.
  12. Check EBAY. $59. to rebuild the rear shock.
  13. YFZ front shocks are the low cost answer for your diving problem. If your rear hasn't blown yet it probably will soon. The seal head design on the Banshee rear wasn't very good. It can be rebuilt and that is a much better way to go then purcashing a used one. Check EBAY for a $59. rebuild auction.
