i have 34s on mine and they are too big (to mitch air) but they will work and i just pull one chock out when i need to chock it

i have an 01 shee that has had a bog from day one, finally figured out the problem it has stock bore vitos superstock pistons carbonfiber reeds cool head with 18cc domes 34mm keihin flatslides. tryed playing with jetting and needles and it never changed. got my brothers banshee and took carbs off his and put on mine and problem wen away his carbs are only 28mm makunis. my question is will 28mm carbs fir in stock intakes, all aftermarket intakes list for 26 to 28mm already ordered 28mm keihin flat slides(not here yet) but need to get intakes and stock is half the price of aftermarket any help would be great you guys are awsom

my brother has a set of 19cc domes he said he would give me i thought i could try them and see if it makes any dif at all i know it is just one size bigger but it mite help a little and im at 2900 ft

i have had the bike for about a year and never had it appart but i have 18cc domes in it and every one says they are to small and go with bigger ones fore pump gas they say that is probably what is causing by bog when i hit the gas

do the o rings have to be replaced when changing domes

ok swaped plug wires and changed from firing on right to firing on left cyl but anser me this,i can pull plug wire off left cyl and it will die but i can pull it off right and it wont and if i plug another spark plug in the wire and ground it outon the left cyl it will run on the right cylinder doesnt make any cents to me if it wont run on just right cyl if left is un pluged why will it run if left is pluged into another plug that isnt even screwed into the cylinder. maybe normal dont know. playing with it more and thinking it might be a jetting problem it idels fine but about 1/4 throtle kinda runs like shit sounds like it crapin out is this a pilot jet problem have 34mm kehien flat slides with 40 pilots and 135 mains clip on second ring from top and elevation is about 2900 ft

every one is talking about a carb problem bu like i said i have swaped carbs from side to side with no change. have gas and oil running down head from exhaust flange that isnt burning in cylinder. thats why i dont think its a carb problem

i have cleaned carbs changed jets played with needles it is getting gas left cyl at exhaust pipe has got oil down the out side were it hasnt burnt it so gas is not a problem. left cyl exhaust has air coming out but it isnt hot like right side until it gets into power band runs great in power band but cant allways ride in powerband (or can I) Ha Ha

i can run pump gas (premium)got new intakes and like i said changed carbs side to side with no change cant remember what jets but plugs look good . listed mods and also have dial a jet it cant be a carb problem (can it)?

need help guys. left cyl fires at idle but week canpull off left plug wire and rpm drops pull off right plug wire and it dies,fires fine at high rpm(in power band) but has a nasty bog at bottem end i have swaped carbs from side to side,reeds side to side,plugs side to side put coil and cdi box from brothers banshee on mine has 135 lbs comp on both cylinders checked ohms at stater every thing good dont know what to do now DONT WANT TO TAKE IT TO DEALER CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE THANKS P.S not stock has 34mm kehin carbs cool head with 19cc domes vitos supper stk pistons clamp on filters carbon fiber reeds only had bike for a year and ben fighting this the whole time

this thing has ran like this since tha day i got it. i have changed pilot jets,main jets,changed carbs from side to side changed plugs changed coils checked compresion (both at 130) checked timing. it has always had the bog at bottom end and always firing on right cyl off idle until i makeshift a cross over tube then it would fire on left cylinder and not the right on. it doesnt make any senceto me i have even changed reeds from side to side with no change

i never thought about the cross over tube before because we were allways riding were i would run a lot at WOT , but my last trip we went trail riding and noticed it would only run on one cyl until i opened it up,then it would run fine. came home played with things with no luck crudeley built a cross over tube set up and then it would run on other cyl (was running on right then went to left) my broyher has a banshee and put a boost bottle an it and he said his was only running on one cyl at idle but it would change back and forth from time to time but now runs fine

any one run these? the shee i baught has these on it ,all this time i thought i had jetting problems (bog in low end not firing on one cyl low rpms) turns out needs cross over tube but these intakes dont have any place for one any body got any recomendations. hate to toss and buy new intakes,those things cost $190.00 and new intakes for 34mm carbs from UPP cost 90.00 but if thats what i need to do i will cant run WOT all the time (OR CAN I) ha ha ha.

just remembered when running left cyl doesnt feel like it is sucking air through carb likk right side is. what would cause that.

just checked compresion have 160lbs on both cylinders next step is vacume test i guess

I CHANGED PLUGS FROM SIDE TO SIDE EVEN CHANGED TO NEW PLUG IN LEFT SIDE ,DIDNT CHANGE SWAPED CARBS FROM SIDE TO SIDE NO CHANGE CAN START AND PULL PLUG WIRE OFF LEFT CYL WITH NO CHANGE BUT PULL PLUG WIRE OFF RIGHT SIDE AND IT DIES DONT MAKE SENCE

left cylinder wont fire until I get in power band has spark has gas and has compresion (havent checked compresion yet) but stuck finger over hole on both cylinders and feel the same. took coil off my brothers and poot on mine but didnt make any diff top end runs great idals fine but cyl wont fire PLEASE HELP

i have bills pipes temp is 80 elevation is about 4500 ft plugs that were in it were BLACK & WET with fuel plugs look better now but still a little dark brown

just got a used banshee that has these mods coolhead w/18cc domes vitos super stk pistons boysen carbon fiber reeds spacers and 34 mm keihin flat slide carbs here is my problem,about 1/4 throttle it has a serious bog (almost throw ya over the handle bars ) and then takes off like a bat out of hell changed main jets fron 128 to 120s and pilots from 40s to 35s moved needle clip down all the way and didnt make any diff NEED HELP THANKS
