  1. what does a shop usually charge to have both my cylinders and head polished?
  2. my compression is 160. Im running 1 gallon Race (110) and 4 gallons super. Does that sound about right?
  3. First off should I run one? Second what kind of filters for a pingle valve set up?
  4. Polish, curious how does you bike perform with that size tires and still keeping the stock size sprocket?
  5. Im running stock 14 41 sprockets. Went to a taller tire. Guys at Cascade said instead of going to a 13 in the front go to a 43 in the back. If I understand right they said the less teeth the less it has on the chain??? I strickly only ride dunes. Im running fatty's, reeds, Pods, 4" extended swingarm, Big bore, carbs etc. I went from a 9 paddle hauler to a 9 paddle extreme.thanks
  6. LOL my mechanic told me there would be a lot of speculation on this matter. It funny who you talk to. I live in Oregon, Guys at White Knuckle think there garbage but Cascade Innovations reccomended it. I just dropped a ton of money into my motor and the last thing I want is to worry about a $75 part that could of made a difference.
  7. No I really appreciate all your input guys thats why I asked. And yes I was set on the 8's when I went to buy them. After talking to the guy at SMI and a couple of customers on all the mods and swingarm they reccomended the 9's. Since Im more in to short drags then opening r wide open. Its very possible I did lose top end but honestly I didnt feel a difference even know I am a Rookie Lol. SMI said if I didnt like them to bring them back the next day and maby go with a reg 9 or 8. But Im happy. Another factor I never mentioned is Im going with a cub motor soon and didnt want to have to re-paddle. thanks guys for all your help.
  8. Well when I went to SMI to buy my tires the guys there talked me out of the 8's and said go with the 9's. So I did. Rode it yesterday. I took my girls 8's off her shee to make the comparison. Night and day difference. I couldnt tell loosing any top end speed and out of the hole was assome. Im glad I went with the 9 extremes. thanks guys
  9. thanks guys for all you input. I think Im going to put one on to be safe. Its very possible I don't need it as some of you stated, but whats a little insurance.
  10. Well I have a aftermarket gas cap that allows more air. Im getting 50/50 ratio on yes and no? My mechanic did say I had to run part racing fuel now because of my Compression at 160. Any help?
  11. Im running 160 compression. so you get bubbles in the lines with the Pringel? Sounds like that would be a hassle?
  12. My mechanic says the only thing my bike needs now is a Pringel Valve. He says my bike is really sucking fuel. Im not sure if he is just trying to get more money out of me or if they really are as good as he says they are? What do you guys think of them? Are they worth every penny? or are the stock valves fine? thanks
  13. sorry posted under Mods Forum. My bad.
  14. well I purchased the pods today witht the outerwears. Dropped them off at my shop motor should be installed this week. You think I will notice any difference with the 2 airfilters versus the 2 in to 1 K&N?
  15. so for my stock carbs what size of pods do I need to get?
  16. so do they come in different sizes? what size do I need for stock carbs
  17. Do you still have your paddles? if so email me at [email protected] and let me know?
  18. I need a pair of Pods for my banshee for stock carburators. I have a 2 into one if you might want to trade, otherwise I will pay you outright. Email me at [email protected]. I won't be checking this website often so email me please.
  19. where is a good place to get them at a good price?
  20. The only thing I run is dunes. So elliminating the airbox is going to give me more airflow? Is it to the point where I would notice it? And I have stock carbs on my banshee so what size of airfilters do I need and where is a good place to buy them cheap. thanks
  21. Right now Im running my stock air box with a 2 into 1 K&N filter. My mechanic says that for dune riding that its a waist to have my setup and go with the individual filters and put outwears on them. He also claims with the airbox he can't get the carbs just perfect. what are your guys feelings on this matter? thanks
  22. thanks guys for all your help, I think Im going to stick with the 20/10/10 and this time use the Extreme but go down to a 8 paddle. I'll let you know how it goes.
  23. Sorry guys this is a stupid question but it goes height with and wheel size right? so a taller tire will grip better then a shorter because it elongates more?
  24. K so we figured out that the 8 paddle is fine. Now help me on the wheel size and tire. I like to drag and really want a tire to grab, but I also like to shoot the hills. So what would be my optimal size? I was running 20/10/10 9 paddle hauler before. Quick question, my girlfriends banshee has the same mods as mine and she runs regular 8 paddle haulers. Yet my bike is faster and shoots out of the hole better then hers. You don't think that has anything to do with the paddles?
