all the computer read outs and new style technology is nice, but damn, who has all that kind of money to spend on equiptment when you can do the old school way and do just as fine and ride a hell of alot more than the guy with the lap top crunching numbers to make sure there are no errors..its just my 2 pennies....old school way all the way :thumbsup:

thats kool if you have a metal lathe, and all the correct tools to produce the pistons... i think i'll just stick to the ole pro lites and not have to worry about a soft piston blowing apart in my cyliders...LOL

check your clutch adjustment..2nd gear will do that under hard acceleration if it isnt disengaging the clutch all the way..not sure about the 4th gear issue...what kind of oil is in it? high viscosity oil can do that as well..drain it out, check for shavings or anything out of the ordinary..

what kind of dirt bike are you looking for? i still have that yz 250 and cr 125..

how much of a pain to start? could be the stator on its way out...have you checked for good spark? how is the compression on both cylinders or ever check the crank seals for leaking air? how bad is the frame tweaked and where is it tweaked? considering all this into factor, i wouldnt be able to toss in any cash..i baught a 1997 banshee in mint condition with new fmf fatty pipes and silencers, fmf RAM valves, and needing nothing 4 years ago for $2,000....think about it and let me know..thanks, Rodney
