hey guys. i was riding the shee' today and i soon realized it wouldnt shift past third gear. anyone else ever had this happen or know what the problem is. the shift lever wont reset to the neutral position to shift up or down it just stays up. it worked fine yesterday but now all i got is 1,2,3. any help would be much much appreciated. thanks alot guys Justin

hi guys, im just wondering what works better for you guys when you are riding. i have a thumb throttle on mine right now. i bought it like that. my previous 4 wheeler had a thumb throttle and i loved it but idk about a twist throttle. it works ok uuntil i land hard and pull back. thanks guys take it easy, Justin

i think they are the stock 26mm carbs. and i really dont know on the speed. i was just makin a crude estimate it wasnt scientific idk what the stock speed is for a banshee. idk where i heard this but i heard it was at around 92 but thats gotta be off. i know my bike runs at least 75 but over that idk. its slower now cause i regeared it to 13 41 and i have some smaller tires on there right now so its totally turned from speed to torque. ill speed check it with this gearing and tire size. the tires are 18's. ill see what the speed comes out too. thanks guys Justin

it could very well be closer to 90 than 100. i didnt mean to piss anyone off when statin the speed of my quad. its prolly feels faster than it is. im gonna check on the porting and see if it is or nto and illl radar it this weekend or somethin. thanks guys Justin

hey thanks for the reply's guys. ill prolly look into it this weekend cause its raining and supposed to snow in northern minnesota here. as for the 100 mph im pretty sure its at 100 and if not is real close. sometimes you can just tell but it feels faster on a wheeler than in a car. ill clock it with my bros gps tonight and get back to you guys. i regeared it now. thanks for your help. take it easy Justin

hi guys ok i bought my banshee from a guy that prolly couldnt tell the difference from a moped and a ducatti 999 so he didnt know much. i paid $2400 and im 16 so im not an expert but i know my motors. anyway he said it was drag ported but idk if it actually was. it has toomey t-5's, a paul turner duncan motor. he said it was shipped to a speed shop and built. toomey clutch? pro designs cool head. pro design 17 domes. LRD tranny. boyeson power reeds and boyeson valves. wiseco pistons. k&n pod filters. thats about all the performance stuff he told me about. its fast no doubt but ive seen videos of banshees that would rape mine no prob in a race. i can burn out in 4th from dead stop. i just thought that was kinda fun. anyway how can i tell if its ported or not. when i got it it ran around 100 with 16 44 gearing with 22" tires on it. it now has 13-41 gearing. iw as also wondering if anyone knows where i can get cheap headlights and a front bumper or if any of you have used ones that you would wanna pass on for some $$. thanks guys. ride hard Justin

can u really do that? remove the bottle. the one that mounts behind and below the seat? that would be really nice cause i dont like the look of mine? any help would be great. also. where do u guys get the art work done of ur shees and the girls together. i think those look really tight and was gonna look into somethin like that. thanks guys. ride hard Justin

hi guys, i just got my banshee a couple weeks ago and damn does it go. it was pretty modded when i got it which was nice. here is a list of mods: It is a Paul Turner Duncan stage 3 motor. It has DG nerf bars, Toomey T5 stinger pipes w/ silencers, Maxxis Razr rear tires, Drag ports, Toomey clutch, Pro Designs Cool Head, Pro Design domes 17, LRD tranny, boost bottle, Boysen power reeds, Boysen valves, Wiseco pistons, K&N pod filters, Maier full bore plastic, Tiny Tach rpm gauge, Motion Pro twist throttle, ITP rear rims, Smith grips, DG rear bumper. what i need i sa pair of stock headlights and a front bumper. if any of y ou have any that you could part with for a couple bucks thatd be great. thanks guys Justin

i had to change my clutch cable a while back and what i found was that when i tried to start it up after i changed it, it was dead like yours when it had been runnin just a half hour before. what happened was when i threaded the cable under the tank it caught the harness from the ignition switch. so i took everything off and found out thats what it was. hope u find it man. its a bitch when u cant ride ur shee. mine is broke right now too. anyone know how to break out an old bearing from a swingarm. i might have to mill it out cause it melted to my swingarm. thanks guys
