  2. i live in calgary alberta canada and i am looking to ride some dunes. i am wondering if anyone knows of some good places to go in canada or the us close to me.
  3. if it isent the e brake check your electrical connetions to the coil and the plugs. that what my problem was just a loose connection.

  7. thats what i thought but i tyed 240s and it ran like ass. no power at all
  8. the jet says 190 on the bottom of it. so i dont know what is going on. but i went from riding the same trail and having half or a quarter tank to and empty tank just being able to make it back. something is not right. i exspect it to eat more gas but not that much.
  9. it dosent cut out at low idle. and how do you adjust the idle with the clutch cable.
  10. toomy says to use a 280. when i went to the bike shop and asked for that they told me i was crazy for going so high so i tried a 240 and the bike ran like crap. no power at all. one of my buddies piped his and it has a 190 in it and it runs fine and is the same on gas. the shop jetted his. what do you think
  11. just put a set of t-6 and a tors elimination kit on my stock shee. i run at about 3000 to 4000 feet above see level in all tempeture conditions in canada. i changed my main jet to a 190 and dident do anything else. the problem i have is it is using a lot of gas now. and when it idles it is fine at first but when i ride it for a while it idles really low. what should i do.

  13. make sure you shave them 3/4 of an inch or shorter or you wont be able to adjust you idle.
  14. if i went with a big bore kit would i have to weld my crank and do a bunch of other mods like reeds cool head etc.
  15. i have a stock shee that could use a new set of rings and pistons. should i go with a bigger piston and get my juggs bored. or should i stay with the stock size. and if i should bore them what is a good size to go to on a stock motor.

  18. i am just wondering if it hard to put a new set of rings in my shee. its a 99 and has never been done i thought it would be a good idea. what do you guys think. is there anything else i should do while i do them.
  19. so i fixed the problem it was a loose wire on the coil. it was touching just enough to run fine at an idle but when you opened her up it would not make a good contact. thanks for the help guys
  20. i think i might just start trying parts off of my buddies sheeand hopfully i can find the problem.
  21. i have not done a coprestion test yet. both cylanders are fireing at an idle because there is exaust coming out both sides. i will start by trying the spark boots and wires first. then the coil. what should my comprestion be. and when i check the reeds what should i be looking for. thanks
  22. do you guys think it could be the coil
  23. since i rode it last i changed the plugs cleaned the carbs and replaced all the gas to try and fix the problem.
