I have never ridden a fourwheeler that is harder to do wheelies on than a Shee
If you can ride a long wheelie on a banshee, then i really respect you....Im sure i would be able to if i could keep mine runnin long enough to try....
This is why i originally asked the question...I was hoping to buy a brand new 06 if they were gonna be a cool color.... but if they arent gonna even make an 06, then i might keep the 99
I've heard of things like this happening on 250r's...I dont know if they are the same on banshees, but somethimes if you forget to tighten the chain tightening nuts they will turn themselvs tight and get the chain so tight that it wont move
I dont know if im just a dumbass and dont know what im doing, but i still havent cured my oil burning problem
This will be the third time ive had the motor apart since i rebuilt it
This last time i used loctite 515 on the cases....it lasted about 5 minutes...i have gotten it to only burn oil on the right cylinder finally...which is a little better i guess..... i put in a new crank seal also
Anyone have any other ideas????
I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the 06 banshee.
What color are they gonna be??
Any other cool stuff??
Is 06 really the last year for them???
40:1??????????? I dont think thats too rich. Its gotta be coming from where the case halves meet...i will know monday when i put it all back together i guess
no...its definitly gear oil....i burned off about a half quart in an hour...i just still cant believe that it could all be just seeping thru the case halves
I'm hoping that its just leaking thru the case....it was buning oil so bad i had it basically sprayin out the exhaust. I will find out monday when i get my new crank seal... Hope it fixes it this time....This Shee has been a money pit...
Alright, I had the seal in right the first time It's hard to believe i could be burnin that much oil just from it leakin thru the case, but i guess i will give that loctite shit a try and hope it solves my problem.
Hmmmm....the seal seems to be fine...
I think the rings are just F-ed....i got the head off and clutch cover and shit.......
If the rings are screwed, i''m sure i will have to re-bore it....are there any ways i can get oversized rings???
Help me please
Any other ideas????
Thanks
