  1. The Trinity intake looks nice but is not well designed! I have suggested many times in the past to my friend who has the 2 into 1 trinity intake to purchase the Graydon Proline intake for hs 40mm Lectron. It was out of his own mouth that I first heard negative feelings towards the Trinity intake right after he purchased it! Maybe it works fine but the graydon seems like a better choice for 2 into 1 setups! Personally I like 2 carbs and 2 pipes! I recently purchased the Trinity intakes for the dual carb setup! Still waiting for them!
  2. Attach the stock intake manifolds to the stock reed cages with only two bottem bolts and nuts holding the two together. Use a hacksaw and cut right until the two bolts. Take the bolts out and you can cut the excess off with a razor blade. It takes 5 minutes. I just cut mine the other day and they came out fine. I just put the V-fore 3's on my bike with some 28mm pwk's. The stock intakes work fine with the 28's but the left carb sits on the cover over the clutch cable lever on the motor so it sits a little higher than the right hand carb. I ordered some Trinity intakes and am waitng for them!
  3. Does anyone know where I can get replacement ball joints for aftermarket banshee a-arms for cheap? I seem to remember Volkswagen ball joints will work but I am not sure what size they are! Thx!!!
  4. Just wondering if anyone has tried the TMDESIGNWORKS No Leak Pipe Collars? Can these be taken off and reused again? Seems too good to be true! Thx!!!

Get the TMDESIGNWORKS Chain guide! I just purchased the one with the power lip rollers in it! A little pricey but who cares! Nothing in this sport is cheap!
  6. I almost got sold on the G-3's myself! The testimonials out there were amazing! I even found a forum where someone was talking up the G3's and some of the other forum members tore his ass up for making false statements. Apparently this guy was somehow affiliated with 1dir racing and pushing these reeds on the sites! I wouldn't consider that illegal but for how much they are trying to sell these reeds for I would buy V-Force! So thats what I did! I bought some V-Force 3's back in Feb. when they became readily available again and I have been sitting on them for the past 3 months! Just rebuilt my bored and ported motor, put a NOSS head with 21cc domes, 28mm PWK's w/ K&N pods, V-Force 3's, 200w Ricky Stator, advanced my timing 6 degrees and I am waiting for my Shearers to come. Let me tell you guys how much I cannot wait to start that bitch up for the first time! My buddy who already had a few mods put the V-Force 2's on a couple of years ago and couldn't belive the difference! That pretty much had me sold!!!!
  7. What kind of pipe clamps did you use on the Shearers? I just ordered a set of Shearers and I was worried about the clearence and the K&N pod filters. The dude I spoke with at Shearer said thats why he routed the tubes the way he did because he was sick and tired of people burning their K&N's! Glad to see that worked out for ya!
  8. Let me tell ya right now I would rather do warp speed on a Banshee with a relatively stock chassis than a 20 year old LT500! I have ridden enough of the 500's and each one was a deathtrap! Even the nice ones when I sat on them I felt like I was being molested! Awsome bike but the handlebars always needed to be a little higher on both the 250's and 500's! Not exactly a great woods bike but dont tell that to the people who own them! Personally I would set up one for the roads with a GXSR1100 Nitrous motor used for one thing! Runnin from the man!
  9. I am looking for one of the Alba front bumpers for the Banshee with the changeable mudscreens. It seems Alba had to change the style and sold all of the previous models. They told me that they sold thousands and I might be able to get ahold of one. If anyone has any info on where I could find one or would be willing to sell let me know! Thx!!!!!
  10. Thanks for the tips! I will do that!
  11. I am looking at around 2.5 hrs worth of petrol! Throw some pipes or some intake mods on there and your time starts dwindling down! Where I ride there are gas stations every few miles, bring some oil!!! If someone made a larger tank that fits under the stock plastic I would be all over it! I do not like the fact that on the Clark tanks the plastic is permanent, and the IMS tanks make a Banshee look gay!!!! So there is your options!!!
  12. I talked to the guys at Shearer and they said use the stock o-rings. They also said to use the stock springs, hangers and clamps. Personally I would like a different set of clamps.
  13. After considering my options for a couple of weeks I finally purchased some Sheaer Pipes for my Banshee today. I considered purchasing the Rockets, Fat Bastards, CPI, and Trinity. I am coming from the land of ProCircuits so I am expecting a considerable increase in pull up top. Where I live my friends and I ride a lot of roads and old railroad beds converted to walking trails. Miles upon miles of these trails so we do alot of fast riding. The person I spoke with at Sheaer suggested I advance my timing by 5 to 6 degrees. I recently purchased a NOSS head with 21cc domes, V-Force 3's, 28mm pwk's, new K&N pods, had my cylinders bored 30 over and ported. I was running a virtually stock motor before with just the PC's and the K&N's, I can't wait!!!! Any suggestions that might make my ride and tune time go by faster would be greatly appreciated! Thx!! I will post pics as I get closer to completion.
  14. Does anyone have pics of a Banshee with Fat Bastards on it? If so can you post them? Thx much!!!!!
  15. Cough..Scratch..Cough..... ........ .... ...... ...... good night!
  16. Bored 30 over, mild exhaust porting, roughed up the intake ports, V-Force 3's, K&N pod filters, NOSS cool head with 21cc domes, 4 degrees advanced timing, and I am probably going to be running Rockets when they come in. What is a good main/pilot combo to start out with on the 28mm PWK's? Thanks!
  17. I have narrowed my decision down to the Rocket pipes, Toomey T6's and the Trinity StageIV Banshee pipes with the Rockets taking a slight advantage over the other two. Anyone care to throw their two cents in before I make my final decision! I always respect the opinions of fellow Banshee enthusiasts especially those of you who have been around for a while!
  18. I am looking for a set of banshee pipes and I have been contemplating for two weeks now what to buy! I just got rid of a set of decent Pro-Circuit's. I just wanted something new looking. I was happy with the Pro-Circuits but wondering how the alternatives are. Also I just picked up a Ricky Sator 200w stator with the adjustable timing plate. What effects will I notice if I advance or retard the timing by 2 or 4 degrees. I ride on roads and long flat railroad beds, some gravel pits. I want a pipe that improves the power over the whole band but would like to stay away from an inframe "drag style" pipe. Mods are listed below. Also provide any suggestions to help make this a reliable ripper! Thx!!! SJones Mods: Noss Cool Head w/21cc domes, V-Force 3's, 28mm Kiehin PWK's w/ K&N pods. Just had the motor bored 30 over and I had the intake ports roughed up a little and the exhaust ports opened up a little. No major port work was done. Just spent mad dough! Looking to spend more!
