  3. Why did you paint them black? Have you used that brand paint before and did it hold up? Still at $200 shipped? Take paypal???
  4. At least you got a response when you emailed him. I'm still waiting for him to answer my 2 questions.
  5. Yeah, who got them?
  6. Nice to see another local here. J-arms, right? Good luck getting $2500. I just missed out on a 1996 'Shee for $1500.
  7. I live in Midland too. I have a '86 Honda 250R frame that's been modified for a Yamaha WR400F engine. Frame only for $100.
  8. BTT
  9. Can you post some specs?
  10. Like the title states - looking for a winter project. Can be a basketcase or can be a complete quad that quit running. Will consider anything from just the frame, engine or the complete quad.
  11. These guys are crooked. Don't trust them. If they have a junk Banshee they start the price at like $2,500. They wanted $500 for a junk Banshee frame that's been sitting outside in the rain and snow for like 2 plus years!
  12. Plus front shocks ($150 used), plastic ($400 new), lights, wiring harness, CDI ($150), brakes, rear sprocket, oil tank, coolant overflow tank, air filter box, battery ($120 new), etc. The going price on a slightly used 450 engine minus carb, pipe and electronics is $3,500. I've seen a blown one sell for $2250 on ebay. If you're looking to build a YFZ from these parts, you're better off buying a used 2004 for $4500 - $5000. If you're looking to build some sort of hybrid, then it's a pretty good deal.
  13. No it won't fit a Banshee. The YFZ shocks uses a MX style linkage on the bottom of the shock. Fronts will fit though.
  14. What items do you still have?
  15. Please send pics of the frame to [email protected]
