So, why is yamaha cutting the banshee?
DirtyFitz replied to Baltour's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Emissions regulations and tree hugging whine bags. -
Yeah a buddy told me the same thing, I guess ill just have to go that route. I wont be able to do it this weekend but maybe next weekend. But ive learned my lesson now....
-
Hahaha very funny
-
It gets rid of the big device on the top of the carbs, and makes access to the carbs 100x better IMO. Also makes jetting more of a breeze instead of hassle.
-
Yeah the one that holds the rim to the hub

I have a nut on my tire that is stripped and I cant get it off (need to get off because im going riding this weekend). Anyone know a way I can get it off without have to go to the stealership and where I can buy new nuts because they just rape you at the stealership? Any feedback or advice would help

Happy B-Day :baseball_original:

Alright well on my right rear hub the nut that tightens the tire down is stripped. Just 1 of them is and the others are in need of replacement and now I need to know how to get this nut off (Frustrating me very bad). Is it going to require me popping the hub off and taking the whole tire w/ the hub into a shop so they can take it off? I dont want to spend the money and I need to also know the size of the threading so I can get new nuts because I AM NOT going to the stealership, last time I did that for my moms 450 they charged us $5.00 a nut and thats ridiculous. Any help and if anyone in Northern Vegas could help me out it'd be greatly appreciated.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !

Do your best to find a used shee for under $2000 or just around there, Spend another $500 on some mods and clean her up and your quad will be just as good as your buddies and you'll still have the cash left over. And just like chase said it'll only cost you around $400 every rebuild and my first top end went 2 seasons of every weekend riding before I needed a new top end. It all comes down to what you want.
-
Okay, it is very hard to argue with people about this. Take a look at the 250R; Still to this day you can build one from the ground up and they quit making them long ago. The Shee has been around almost 20 years which means the Shee has the most aftermarket capabilities and parts available. You think that company's are going to stop making parts for it because Yamaha doesnt make it anymore? Your straight stupid if you believe that. Far too many people ride a banshee for them to not make parts for them. Get over yourself and realize that just because some 4 Stroke Revolution has come that the 250R, Banshee, and Blaster wont hold a name for theirselves. All of you 4 Jokers underestimate the power of a 2 Stroke, cant handle a powerband because you want smooth delivery...get some skill with the Shee and you can conquer any terrain.

Ahh man dont we all learn our lessons. Ive come across a burn or two but how the hell do all of you burn your pants onto your pipes? I have some boots that have a leather side where it rubs against the pipe and ive yet to burn my pants. But anyways I have a buddy that at the time had his YZ85 and we were all riding playing around doing wheelies and stoppies and he went a bit too far with a stoppie and the bike landed RIGHT on his leg and the pipe just sizzled his right leg and the burn was about 6 inches up his leg and was disgusting. We all rushed to get the bike off him but it was still too late. I brought him to my house and my mom cleaned his leg up and wrapped it but that was the most horrible burn ive ever seen.

Bye ! :baseball_w00t: -
well here is the new quad from ktm/polaris merge
DirtyFitz replied to helldriver's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I have a friend who bought a Predaturd Troy Lee Edition and he rode it for 6 months before the middle of the frame completely cracked, he then had to wait 4 months for Polaris to get him a new frame. Once he got the new frame on he sold the pos and got a YFZ450. Just from what ive heard and the feedback from polaris I wouldnt ever think about purchasing a polaris. -
I completely agree with this. I live in Vegas and when the parties get going durin the summer you always get the freshmen girls coming to parties and next thing you know all you hear is so and so fucked some 20 year old dude at some party and then its out and ive had a friend locked up for it....disappointing that a girl will consent to sex and then regret it and tell the cops. Just have to watch your back and think with your head above your waist.

What are the prerequisites for getting banned in this forum?
DirtyFitz replied to night's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Wait....How old is everyone? All of you grow up already. -
DONT I repeat DONT buy Gecko's you'll wanna kill yourself in the end. I felt like a damn fool when I finally bought my Sandstars and actually got a feeling of traction, Straight up wasted my money on them shitty geckos.

They call me CJ

What is/are your style of riding(s)?
DirtyFitz replied to night's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Im a Sand Addict, Glamis, Dumont, Coral Pink, Pismo. -
Well to beat any of us Shee riders your going to have to put oil in your gas. You could ask for POWER baby, I couldnt climb anything at my local dunes on a Z400 w/ pipe and air filter, but with pipes and air filter on my ride I could climb anything. Them 400's dont impress me at all :baseball_whistle:

There's always a faster bike out there, My buddy has a worked up 250R (port N polish, bored, airstryker carb, jetted and other goodies) and it is always 1 bike length behind me if not right next to me in a straight drag. Them R's have power ALL around and its nice.
-
Do you mean loading up as in revving to higher RPMS or what?
-
I'd say Banshee but one of the #1 things you HAVE to have is brakes on the sand. Just take your 450 and have a good time man.
