  1. thanks scott i put up another post before i seen your reply sorry i tried to move the needle the other way and it got worse. i did a plug chop and the plugs look good burning good. at full throttle this thing screams the only prob i have is runnin thru the woods it boggs alot till the power band kicks in. any suggestions ???????????
  2. having prob with mid range badddddd!just bought 28mm pwk's from a buddy dont know what jettin is in the carb runs nice on top end and the plug is burning great. but mid range sucks i checked the needle and its all the way at the top of the clips at the leanest position ive tried moving it down and my bike runs even more like sh@!.could it be a possibility that the carbs are jetted too high. and my plug still be buring good but make my mid rpm suck. didnt have the problem till i put the carbs on but at full throttle this thing screams but sucks in the woods. could anyone give me a starting point on the jettin i got 28 mm,reeds,spacers,fmf pipes,k&n air filter with holes cut in my air box. i live and ride in deleware and use 98 oct gas thanks for the help
  3. what if your clip is to the top of the needle and it still feels like your runnin rich by boggin or runnin like the choke is on at mid throttle???? i got 28 mm pwk's used from a buddy dont know what jets just know where the needle is
  4. thanks man there was a nice post that went into detail on some web site but i cant find it i know vitos jet kits come with a lil thing that tells u too but i lost mine for my blaster and just got 28 mm carbs for my shee and feels like the choke is on a mid throttle till it catches up then hold on
  5. i know this topic has been beatin to death but i cant find out what im lookin for. on moving your clip on your needle when your at mid throttle and it feels like your choke is on do u move it up or down???? i know there was a place that went into depth on this but i can find it and it actually said that if it felt like your choke was on what to do.

  7. got a 15\42 gearing 28mm carbs reeds,spacers,boost bottle and k&n filter. went to fort mott nj and rode bike felt strong but felt like i was rippin thru first and third too fast. fouth and sixth felt awsome.later that day i went locally in deleware doing some woods riding felt like my bike was boggin down alot and like it was tryin to foul a plug wouldnt climb hill that great unless i had it in 1st and was on the power band. jettin is good did a plug chop looked great. what can i do to keep my wood riding with out runnin the bike so hard but still run pretty fast on top end . i know to ride in the woods i gotta give up top end but id like to keep a lil
  8. check slides in caliper also if u still have your emergency brake hooked up its probably not releasing so put the block off on it i had to do the same 1 day riding and the pads were gone and was buyin the good pads. u get what u pay for

  10. well ive got it went to the local walmart and bought a dremel tool. did a lil shavin on the boot not too much but enuff. boot slips on nice i had to remove my air box to get the boot to go onto the air box but only cause i have the reed spacers. it works great just dremeled the lip out the inside of the boot.thanks for everyones input
  11. they arent they are keihin carbs i just cant get the boot to go over the carb ive demeled the lip out the inside of the boot and trimmed the air box a lil even cut a lil excess off the boot its self but it just wont go on the carb ive even used a heat gun to heat the boot with no sucess and cant find anyone that sells boots to fit it.
  12. ive jsut bought 28 mm carbs and reed spacers does anyone know any tricks on how to use the stock boots or where to buy boots with the clamps on them that wil work ive tried a lil mod on the stock boots but no success.
  13. HAVING A PROB JUST GOT SOME 28 MM CARBS FROM A FRIEND AND WENT TO PUT THEM ON MY SHEE BUT THEY WONT FIT IN THE BOOTS??? SHOULDNT 28 MM CARBS FIT INTO STOCK AIR BOX BOOTS?? THE AFTERMARKET ONES ARE FOR STOCK AND 33 TO 35 M CARBS NONE FOR 28 ??????
