Does anyone make a nice twist throttle, maybe billet. The motionpro and similar brands are junk, I have one on my 250R and I would like to get one for my Banshee.

I live in MA and I have been looking for a Banshee for several months in the $1500-$2000 Range and haven't been able to find a nice one in the range that is in driving distance. $2500-$3000 seemed to be the range for a nice one. I just finally picked up a 2000 for $1400, but it need some love and I had to drive 4 hours. He was originally asking $2495, I talked him down to $1800 on the phone and down to $1400 when I got there because it needed more than I thought.

Thanks guys! I'm not going to put as much money into the Banshee as I did with the R, the R put a nice dent in my wallet. But the Banshee will look very nice and be a great trail quad when I'm done with it.

Yup, thats the same 250R, several thousands later haha. I'm not going to go overboard on the Banshee like I did with the R though. I have a build forum on trx250r.net with pics of the entire build, did it in just a few months.

In 2000 I bought a Banshee brand new, set it up for MX and raced it for a couple years. I sold it several years ago. Right now I own a 89 TRX250R that is setup for MX and I wanted to get a quad to setup for the trails. I love 2 strokes so I've been looking for another 250R or a Banshee. I found a 2000 Banshee he was asking $2495, I talked him down to $1800 on the phone, when I drove 4 hours today to buy it, it was pretty beat we agreed on $1400. It needs work but I think it was a smoking deal. Here is a pic of it below and a pic of my 89 250R I restored before and after. It's rough now but it'll be nice when I'm done with it.

Half of that price sounds like a stretch to me....There is a brand new 06 Banshee on ebay right now, No Reserve and it is at 4300+/- and way better looking.

I am interested in buying a Yamaha Banshee, I would prefer something that is as close to stock as possible, I also want an a-arm model. I am located in Westen MA, so I am looking for one that is located in the North East, I will be in Southern PA next week so that would work too. I am interested in something in the $1500-$2000 range. Long story short, don't buy from KB Motosports. Here is what happened to me. I called for a package price on Shocks, A-Arms, Tie Rods, Brake lines and Clamps. We settled on a price and during our conversation I confirmed several times that this package came with all of these items. After the order I asked for an invoice to be emailed to me, this took well over a week to get after the order. I was so relieved to finally get my invoice that I didn't notice he didn't put the brake lines or clamps on the order but still charged me the price we had discussed for everything. After receiving everything except the lines and clamps I called him, he said they should have shipped out a couple weeks ago. He would look into it and he might get back to me, if not I should call him back. The next day when I called him he said he didn't charge me for the lines and clamps and he couldn't send them to me for free. Lines and clamps are only around $150. at the most so this is more about principle. I guess $150 is not that big of a deal on a $3000. order but I am really pissed about it. During the initial order I confirmed with him at least 3 times on exactly what I was getting. Don't let this happen to you, don't buy from KB Motosports and spread the word.
