  1. I run stock size pure sports bandits. I guess it will take a while and a lot of sprockets/money but i'll eventually figure it out hey!!
  2. those FU*KING idol screws. One minute it won't start, the next you start it and it revs to redline. I'm not goiing to screw with it i'd rather have a pro do it, fu*k the money
  3. i figure that it has lost a considerable amount of compression because it wont hold itself on a hill when it's in gear.
  4. it's quite possible your engine was detonating, my friends acura integra did the same thing because there was an air bubble in the cooling system and it kept revving and revving, his engine didn't pop though. a higher compression would deffinetly cause detenation, the air wsould get so hot as to combust actually burning the fuel before there was ever a spark, so running a higher octane fuel should clear the problem for you, or at least help you.
  5. I have to get my shee's carbs setup because it does not idol AT ALL, it runs fine but doesn't idol, and he told me that my compression was low on one side. He told me he could get me a replacement seet of weisco pistons n rings for $260 cdn. Would i be better off doing this or driving the bike as it is for now and saving up for some major motor mods. NOTE: it runs fine but doesn't idol.
  6. i'm new and i dont know much about a two stroke, can some explain to me about reeds and how they work and how they will benefit me, and how much they are.
  7. Is there a boost bottle that helps in any way. Iv'e heard for some people yes and some people no, i figured you guys are the best to ask.
  8. i run a 14 and a 41, on mostly trails. I just wanted to know what you guys find best, and if you could recommend a better combo for mine.

  10. that's what i what to know. I'm asking some of the expierenced guys here. I ride mostly trails, and open roads. I want to know from the experts what would be best for my ride, considering the type of riding that i do and what i would need in order to get domes. If re-jetting is required, more air, pipes etc. If any of that is required what size domes would i need. all I want is more POWER!!!!!!!! cause ya can never get enough power right?........ right?

  13. i am rebuilding. actually right now my plactics are being air brushed by a friend for really cheap i am hoping to have some pics soon, and my horrible blue a arms are off right now being painted as well. i'm hoping come the spring, it will be half respectable looking. i would like to have a chrome exhaust but i really don't care.

  16. im the kind of person who is fuction over form i dont care what it looks like as long as its faster then the one next to me!!! but im not one to spend an outrageous amount of money.
  17. mostly open roads, city gravel pits and some trail. but the banshee doesn';t have a lot of clearence for trail riding. But bigger rims and tires are so expensive.
  18. i was doing one about 2 weeks ago in my driveway, and (hanging head in shame) i let my bike get away from me, and ran my brother clean over almost breaking his leg, when i found out he was alright we laughed our asses off!!!!!!!!
