  3. Damn!!!! i AM GLAD TO SEE THAT I STARTED A HOT TOPIC. NICE!!! LETS HEAR SOME MORE....
  4. hello, I was just wondering if anyone had any stock clutch springs laying around in their garage? I recently put stiffer springs in and now I cannot even pull in the cluch without getting arm pump after a day of riding. I already foolishly threw away all of my old ones but was hoping somone has some that are up for grabs. Some guy on here says I will need 3 of the 6. sorry for posting this under this section but I figured more people would see this and maybe some nice guy would send a few my way. I dread riding the thing until I can pull in the cluch. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. thanks mike
  5. nice one. lets hear more!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Oh god wait I remebered another one..... HOW DO YOU FIX YOUR WIFES WATCH?????????????????????????????????? YOU DON"T, the oven has a timer already on it. HA!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. ya no shit, those dyno sheets give me a big wood everytime i look at them, I think I am becoming an addict of the #'s. Seriously I think I may need to see a psycologist soon..... I am not kidding......I sit at work and accomplish nothing and sit there and think of things such as how to run the 520 chain through the frame and what gearing will kick ass and which way to run the exhaust, I AM GOING INSANE!!!!!
  8. oh lord is that ever a knee slapper!!!!!!!!!!1
  9. sounds like he may be experiencing some predetonation. You might need to check out the timing or comression or fuel octane. or all 3. Is it the boondockers kit or a wet kit??
  10. SO THEY CAN STAND CLOSER TO THE KITCHEN SINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHHA i just heard it and had to tell someone.
  11. yes I do too. I do too sir. We have the motor sitting in the garage next to the DS but don't really want to start until I can eye up we will fanagle the exhaust around with the turbo. It sucks balls I go out there and stare at it everychance I get. Check out these dyno sheets. http://www.hahnracecraft.com/cycle/suzuki/suzuki.htm
  12. ya shifting down is kind of wierd at first it takes an hour or so to get used to. you guys are right, I probably did put the reserve too low but I just need the cash for a turbo and powercommander for my next creature.
  13. I just wanted to post some pics of my baby. Buy buy it for your wife or something. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...4545911409&rd=1 what do you guys think of her? I have a few of them to sell to build a real one. turbocharged 1300. Did you guys catch the little jib I wrote about the banshee on ex discription.
  14. I recently put on a new clutch perch, cable and clutchplates with stiffer springs. The clutch pull is unbelievably hard to pull, the springs said they were either 20 or 30% so I wouldn't think it would be too hard to pull. Either I am just a big puss or I think I need to get a hydrolic cluch because after a day in the dunes I feel like I have the bionic arm. Everyone whos ridden it will comment on it after getting off. Its pretty smooth in operation so I think everything is on there correctly. Is there anything that you guys can think of that would be a cheaper fix than a hydro clutch?????
  15. I'm not old, 20 but do live by you. I live in FL and was also thinking of going up there, I think it would be an absolute blast (gilbert, right?). I have no ride up there though (had to sell the truck gas was killing me) Anyways if you would like to ride somewhere that would be fun, I am a pretty easygoing guy. Anyways get back to me if youd like to, I also have a few buddies who are in their late 30's who I sometimes ride with (if you don't mind a couple yfz's hah) mike
  16. I would love to see that guy try to find the powerband on my shheeeeee.
  17. I ride a 2004 summit 1200cc I spent a fuckload but it works for me. I love seeing the look on peoples faces when they get dragged by a mountian sled. Think about it this way, if you can anti up for a 99 XC you get the next generation chassis. I personally was not to fond of the indy chassis when it was out.
  18. for 18g you should be able to find a 99 ---on with about 70k or so for that price.
  19. loco I am going to have to disagree that a stock yfz beats a cammed and piped one. My bud has the 450r and we just got back from the dunes and he just has the HMF adjustable slip on and I watched him race about 45 times and never got beat by a stocker. I realize the yami is faster but I don't think its to the degree as you discribed. I am no pro on the subject but from what I saw, people who had their shit tuned were running tossups on the piped shit. I would opt for the extra pony or two and go for the YFZ if I was buying.
  20. good deal man. I almost got my shee stolen at night during the haydays of 03. I heard him when I was sleeping in the enclosed trailer go up and went outside and he had the keyswitch all apart which makes no sense considering he could have just rolled the fucker away and nobody would have been the wiser. So I went out and he was bullshitting me that he loves my bike, I played it off like I didn't see that he had the keyswitch all apart and walked up to the Truck and grabbed the S&W out of the console and walked over to him and whipped him in the face and called the cops.It pays to be packing heat. I couldn't sleep for the rest of the weekend we were there.
