not sure about all the different setups and fancy latest and greatest kits everyone is running or selling ...dont really care, all im saying is the famed fzr fibers are exactly same as the tusk fibers ,not trying to downplay anybodys handy dandy setup just stating a fact between the two clutch fibers.theres no mystery snake oil additives to the fzr ones, its the same cork material thsi isnt rocket science ,if anyone wants to tell me the dimensions of theyre fibers ill gladly compare them to my readings . to each his own ,just thought some people would like to know about what theyre buying

id get dual 33pwk carbs on that bike ,cubs retail for $875 for just the mono block... then theres all the other things

i own a cub and wanted the best clutch setup so i recently have done a shit load of research on here and planet sand etc.got the exact/ correct yamaha part numbers i n the last month and took it upon myself and ordered up genuine FZR1000 yamaha fibers $$$$ with the heavy springs and such . i removed my 29$ tuck clutch kit and noticed they appeared exactly identical i n every way , i grabbed my digital calipers and theyre in fact exactly the same dimensions to .001 of an inch in every way shape and form , pressed coated cork material is the same ,i check parts/gauges peices/ molds every day for 10 hours a day for last 14 years so im pretty confident in my findings here. can someone please enlighten me how or why these fibers have been touted as being so fuckin great and the so called" hot setup" for drag banshees when theyre totally identical to stock and tusk fibers? from now on id recommend a stock(or tusk) clutch with all 6 hD springs.. cause apparently theres nothing better for us

shearers favor higher exhaust port timings around 200+ ,cpi pipes like slighlty less ,this is why cpi may make better bottom end torque ,because theyre designed for specific applications ,where as a shearer is better suited for full drag port jobs .my .02

well id have to think your gonna need a kicker to have any kind of accuracy because it takes many repeated kicks to get a valid static compression reading , and 70lb is way to low... most bikes wouldnt even start .

im very fond of +5 timing advance ,cut flywheel ,Nology coil/wires on platinum plugs ,if i were you id be looking at a 35$ ricky stator timing plate first before the $$$$ cdi and hotter coil kits .

i agree these polls are kinda stupid .. ive had the chance to try about every pipe out there on various banshee motor combos ,and shearers really kick ass on a ported banshee IMO .some other builders pipes like RDZ are made by Matt shearer... so be sure to cut out the high priced middle man

cubs come in 65 and 68 mm stock versions ,the 65 will rev higher,and in theory the 68 will make slightly more torque for bigger riders . a 65 mm cub is actually a 358cc displacement ,i have a drag ported stock stroke 65 mm cub setup and its nothing short of unbelivable power considering its size ,id confidently drag up against any big bore out there .id recommend that yo u speak with passion racing about his kits ,keep in mind ,youll need other mods to accent it though, like bigger carbs intakes /head mods ..and such .
