Thanks a ton, the only problem is, that doesnt cure my problem, my pipes leading to the silencer is whats messed up, i can weld the broken tab back on, i have plenty of experience and the equipment to do so, but the chromed lead pipe and mounting flange is tweaked, and i dont think i can fix that...not without making a mess of it, because the tubing is bent, i was just wondering if all the pipes split in the same place and the rear portions are bent the same..

Ok, I have a simple problem, I left my 'shee ungaurded and my lil' bro wheelied it over and tore off one of my silencers, can you mix pipe's and silencers...is it possible to put a different brand silencer on a set of pipes, or....Does anyone have a spare set of t-5 silencers that they are looking to sell? If so email [email protected].
  3. I would really agree with limited..even if it means i dont sell these things as quick...your only gonna gain about 2 cc's if that...really dont need to put them in unless you have burned yours down... /me shrugs...your decision still..

I realize that I might be publicly skewrd for saying this...while my 'shee is damn fast...and is still the ass kicker in the sand and up the hill....i almost like to steal rides on my brother in laws raptor...or my sisters ltz-400...i dont have the money for trick shocks or anything that would make my 'shee fly as well...and its kinda a lot less work to ride...where I ride...sage and sand...the shee must be almost herded along...its either wide open or not...sometimes its nice to cruise a four stroker.....as for changing the design...well...while a frame and suspension upgrade would be nice....i dont think cloning the raptor or 450 would be the right way...i truely believe if yamaha was smart they would update the chassis and sell the hell outta it.
  5. They arent stock size...they are stock size plus .040 inches out...which means they fit a cylinder bored that much over. Wiseco 513P4, .040 over pistons are the numbers on the kit...typically looks like they go for about 125 Ebay, brand new from wiseco is 190 dollars...so i figure 100 bucks plus whatever shipping would be would suffice.

I have two sets of pistons that I would gladly part with.. .040 out Wisecos .080 out Namuras both are brand new never rans..still in boxes complete...the namuras are all graphite coated or something..got them when i bought my banshee and decided to just get stock new jugs and pistons for it (motor was shelled when I got it and the jugs would have to go .100 out to clean up)....interested parties can email me at [email protected]
  7. Ok, so +4 is where its set..thats what RS tech said also...now..for a twist..mainly due to my curiosity...i wanna bump my compression..was thinking 20cc domes...recommended timing...plus..would 91 octane be hot enough if i did that?
  8. I hate my maxxis sur trax...they blow...by far and away...everywhere i ride..mountains..clay hills...sage flats...i love holeshots...no joke..hillclimbing on wet clay..or burnin around in the sand...best all around time i have ridden

Ok, I just got my banshee back after it had been apart due to a dead stator...while it was apart we put a adjustable timing plate and stator from ricky stator in it...The motor internally is stock..it does have 35 mm keihins and T-5 pipes on it...I live and ride at 7000+ feet..what kinda advance or retardation should i put on this thing?
