I have 2 sets of cases, 1 set has regualr chain breakage on top case and the bottom case has been welded professionally, the other set is good and has had a small repair on top case by the kick start. both cases will work fine, all they need is to be build, I'm wanting 1 good set with no damage and no repairs for the both

Your going to need a multimeter to test the stator, I believe there was an article at bansheezone on how to test the stator. The flywheel comes off with a puller the shop will usually charge you around $25 to pull it but you can get a puller for around $16. your local shop should be able to check your stator for you. I'll see if I can find the page in the mean time I'm sure one of these guys know something

who does everyone recommend doing it and how much should it run me shipped?
-
my local dealer hooked me up with it, I asked him about aluminum vs the plastic, but you know how they are most of them don't ride a banshee and act like they know it all

been doing some reading on getting my flywheel lightened, but before I do, I wanted to know if it would be a good idea for trails/hairscrambles, and also if it makes it easier to stay in your band?

I was looking at some new sliders and rollers the whole deal from tm designs. I seen where they have a case saver made from that plastic I have a metal one and have heard talk of the chain stripping the bolts and still breakijng the case.
Just wanted to know about the tm designs case saver if anyone has run it and how they like it.

I've decided to go aftermarket but it will take awhile I'm wanting to build it the best I can while it's down. I stuck between a vitos crank and wiseco. Which would be the better deal?

Alright time for a new one or to rebuild my crank. the problem is that the only bearings I can seem to find for it is the main crank bearings, I'm looking for the center crank bearings (very bad) and also the rod bearings. cant find anything close to what I need and the only rod bearings I can find are the ones that comes with new rods and I dont need them. I've called every place but yamaha and everyone tells me they can sell me a rebuild kit but it doesnt come with the center crank bearings,. Can anyone onhere help?
