  1. here it goes, I got t3's on it with stocj silencers jetting should be nailed 250's moved the clip down 1 on the neddle to richin it just a bit. anyway the bottom end is there lug it in second hit the gas.......gone, third gear you have to clutch it, (that's not the problem) when you get on the road and go to open it up, it cuts out like something awful, there no TORS so i know that couldni't be it, I've asked a few buddies and they all have said it could be my silencers not letting the T3's breathe right, they all say the t3's are a bottom end pipe and when i rev it real hard or go through my topend the pipes shut off? any info? out of ideas :whoa:

  2. Man alot of guys won't answer this question due to the fact it has been posted thousands of times, there is a jetting article at the top of the page and the only way you'll know it needs to be rejetted is the way it is running and by what color your pluggs are........have a good one

I know the magic number on here is .030, I done my researching but in some posts guys mention my crank coming aprt if it isnt trued and welded, I just redone my whole motor and now I'm wanting to get my head milled my crank isnt trued and welded. I mostly ride woods,hairscrambles. would .030 still be good to take off and if I do take that much of do I have to mess with my squish?

  4. Alright This morning I put 300's in and now its running rich and hard to keep cleaned out, and it doesnt have the ass behind it on the top end niether.

    I did find the reason one cylinder was lean, the header came loose from the silencer, so pretty much that cyclinder was breathing good i guess. I knew I'd have to tune it so i didn't really ride it just up the orad not even half mile then back around the back yard then I'll pull the plugs and see what they look like so far I czant get that nice borwn look im looking for always a lil on lean side or like today plugs are are black looking and a little wet. banghead

    Lightened flywheel

    Wiseco prolites

    boyesen carbon reeds

    airbox lid off w/ k&n filter

    Toomey t3 headers w/ stock silencers

     

    carbs have 25 pilots,

    and currently I have 210 mains now. I had 260 mains

    the air screw is 2 turns out

     

    it feels like it is getting hotter tan usual it is hard on the take off real sluggish and top end isnt great niether. I did a search on here on how to do a WOT plug chop but all the links are dead, Also can you tell me how to check for an airleak?

Just came up from rebuild couple days ago, bottom up everything is new, I've been breaking it in and noticed it has been a little hesitant in low end  and then when you get to top end it bogs after half throttle, i took the  plugs out one side it nice and dark but not to dark and the other side is a little bit lean, The only mods i have are tommey t3 headers stock silencer k&n filter with lid off airbox & lightened flywheel, the carb has 260 mains in them, I just cant see how my g/fs raptor is outrunning me on road when he only has lile bolt on nothing major besides his gytr pipe. anybody have any suggestions? banghead

    So your saying that I need a new topend even after i just replaced it, if that is so how am I supposed to even tune this thing in without it frying my topend if the jets are wrong? I messed with it all day I have 210s I put them in and it seemed to run a little bit better both plugs equaled out running a little lean but the plug is light brown, Everyone has told me to run between 210's and 260's. Also how do I check for an airleak? :shootself:

Alright guys, I went to the machine shop and got a Vanir' Caliper (however you spell it) i measured how far and it comes out just a little over 2 thousandths so I'm guessing that would make it a 4 mill stroker? I already tore the motor back apart, I say screw it I'm going to get a different crank anybody interested in this one? :bolt:

  9. I have a wiseco stroker that has been trued and welded it has seen some run time but is in very good condition it wasn't ran that long in fact. I'm wanting to trade it for a std stroke crank preferrably trued and welded also. let me know what ya have :cheers:

  10. just got done rebuilding the whole engine with a new crank i get it all together and try to kick it with my hand but it wont kick so I check everything out and find that the pistons are hitting my head so i take the head off and the pistons come out the top just enough to catch the first ring on top of the jug. I just wanted to ask you all is there anyway I can tell what size stroker this is? and do I have to run a certain kind of pistons for this storker, in other words can i use my brandnew stock bore wiseco prolites with this stroker if i buy the stroker plate for it?
